I'm like in a fit of catatonia! I watched the Girls finale and couldn't even concentrate on it.

HOW did this news not leak? I'm shocked and impressed they were able to keep it under wraps for so long. Everyone on the internet is going bananas - the article on Deadline about it has like 600 comments now.

I'm so distraught! :P I don't remember the last time a TV show has shocked me that much.

I completely applaud this show for going there though. EVERYONE is talking about this episode and how shocking the death was. No one saw it coming.

To its credit, the first season is the worst thus far.

Also, the next episode screened last night as the cast did an interview with Charlie Rose. Not ready for Sunday.

re: your signature

I really came around on Mindy Project which has been far better than its Tuesday night companions this year but good lord FOX, "Comedy with a side of life?" I may need to recant my affection for the show after seeing that.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the tagline at all.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I agree that it has easily been the standout of FOX's comedy lineup this year. And it's probably the most improved show from season 1 to 2.

This episode just wrecked me. Like, tear my heart out and stomp on it.

Diane firing that client. Cary taking out his anger (which I think might've made me pregnant or something). Kalinda taunting Jeffrey Grant with his own belt.

Alicia. The unresolved voicemail. The stiff "hug" with Peter at the end. ALICIA.

All the Emmys. All of them.

That episode was fucking INCREDIBLE. I was reminded so much of the "Buffy" episode with Joyce's death. The editing, pace and music were all flawless and the performances were absolutely INSANE. The Diane moment was incredible and badass, as was the Cary moment. Kalinda was heartbreaking and that scene with the belt was incredibly chilling and probably the highlight. Alicia's breakdown in the car, conversation with Grace about God, the discussion with Matthew Goode at the end. So many AMAZING scenes.

Totally reminded me of "The Body" at times too. I thought this was a fascinating portrait of the minutiae of sudden death and the desperate search for answers and catharsis involved with it that we don't necessarily get.

It really can't be said enough how incredible Julianna was in this episode. Everyone in the cast, tho. Christine Baranski was just devastating.

I wish that the promo two episodes ago didn't spoil some of the best scenes last night.

Loved Diane telling off David Lee though as well as the Alicia/Peter fight. Also, that show Alicia was watching that was like some spoof of "Scandal" meets "True Detective" was hilarious. "The white hats and the black hats..." :funny:

Daaaaamn Alicia just chewed Peter up and spit him right back out.

I would watch an entire show that consisted of Alicia and Diane getting drunk after work.

LOL I can't believe the weird dancing tutor girl made a random cameo appearance again!

I really like Finn Polmar as a character. Also I'm glad Alicia is back in kick-ass mode. NSA storyline has been (hopfully) fully resolved. It was probably the shows weakest arc mode ever IMHO. But it was a nice finish I think.

This season is on fire though.

I really don't know how this show does it. In contrast with the sadness of the last few episodes, "All Tapped Out" was a lot of fun with all the NSA wheeling and dealing. And god knows I love me some ballbusting Alicia.

Not only was the last episode all aces, they played Trust's Bulbform like ten times. THERE CANNOT BE A BETTER SOUNDTRACK FOR ANYTHING.

I definitely think TGW could make a play for the Emmy.

Sunday's episode was sensational. Dylan Baker/Laura Benati were great together.
