 "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
The long-running medical series is back for its tenth (!) season tonight at 9PM with a two-hour premiere. I'm looking forward to the premiere and seeing some of the loose ends from the season finale tied up. Though it's obvious Richard isn't actually going to die. Also excited for the 200th episode this season! I'm still so curious as to how they're going to handle Sandra Oh's departure at the end of the season - I hope they don't kill her off.

OK premiere. Really, really didn't need to be 2 hours though.

I agree with Libs, but really this show is all about season finales, lol.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
Updated the first post with the new season 10 cast shot that was released this morning. It was being kept under wraps because it revealed the fate of James Pickens Jr. (who I think approximately one person in the world thought was actually going to die in the opener). Premiere was good. I agree that it didn't need to be two hours, but I enjoyed both parts. I knew that Tina Majorino was leaving the show as she booked another series, but I swear Shonda Rhimes doesn't know how to write off characters without killing them Still, her death worked pretty well as a way for the other interns to get some more character development. Also thought the performances from Jessica Capshaw and Sara Ramirez were great (I loved when Callie was talking about how everyone she loves either cheats on her or dies...or both ).

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
There are so many people on this show now, lol. Four new series regulars? Oy. At least they've already been around for a season so they're familiar.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
I think they have 15 series regulars at this point May be a new record for this show. And yeah, the recurring players last season were basically in every episode anyway so the title bump makes sense.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
Last season is on my top 3 from this show.
I hope this season, especially with Christina leaving, is just as good.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
Why was Richard being such an asshole to Meredith at the end of last week's episode?
Also, I'm glad that Callie isn't forgiving Arizona right away.

Grey's 200th eppisode was so uneventfull.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
So far the season has been so uninteresting and this episode's passing from scene to scene kind of irrtated me by the end. A couple of scenes? yeah sure... but the whole episode?!?!?

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
I've been liking all the tension with Mere and Cristina this season and felt it boiled over into a nice argument this episode.
The Jackson/April cliffhanger was weak, though. Was anyone surprised and, more importantly, does anyone really care? The best part was Alex rolling his eyes when Jackson stood up.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
I'm kind of excited. I always liked Burke despite thinking Washington was a douche, obviously.
This gives me hope that when the series ends/Justin Chambers leaves they'll bring Katherine Heigl back. They seriously NEED to wrap up Izzie's storyline properly. They keep trying with Jo (aka Izzie 2.0) but I can't bring myself to care. Chambers had much better chemistry with Heigl (it's probably because Camilla Luddington, well, can't really act).

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
Two residents wont come back, apparently there not getting their contracts picked up for next season. Leah Murphy and Shane Ross.
Shane Ross is currently the worst character, glad theyre getting rid of him...

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
The post-hiatus episodes have been kind of a bore. That Christina episode last week was downright awful. I liked last night's though. Excited for Burke's return.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
I didn't hate the Cristina episode, mostly because it just gave Sandra Oh a lot to do.
Thursday's episode was probably one of the, if not the, most light-hearted episodes in 10 seasons. I kept waiting for something INCREDIBLY DRAMATIC to happen and it never did.
For a show that has had, among others, ghost sex, Meredith dying and coming back to life, bus manglings, bombs, plane crashes and crazed gunmen, it's funny how subdued Grey's has now become in comparison to the insanity of Scandal.

I think they're saving the big moments for cristina's last episode.

 Re: "Grey's Anatomy" (Season 10)
This show's "big moments" are like 100 times more epic than anything "Scandal" has ever done though. Like, there's no comparison. When this show wants to do big event episodes it kicks the ass of every other show on TV.
The two part bomb episode, the two part season 2 finale and the two part season 6 finale are like some of the best TV episodes ever.
