Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
Dammit, after 3 decent episodes I thought ok, finish off strong. But my God, what a terrible episode. The two biggest moments of last season are answered in two subplots. Also Robin flying away has to be a series low. Who else unintentionally laughed their ass off. God this show sucks at drama (Well it use to be good like Marshall's Dad or Ted left at the alter, but the jokes still worked)
Barney's part was the only interesting part, and that didn't have any cool cameos and two terrible actors.

Barney's plot was obviously shoehorned in there just to have NPH in the episode, there was no other purpose to it. Ted letting Robin go made perfect sense and was a well-done moment, not unintentionally funny.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
I agree with the awfulness that was Robin being flown away. The Ted/Robin subplot was done extremely well...until that moment. Probably one of the more cringe-worthy moments of the season...and this season has made me cringe a lot.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
You know the Robin flying away is supposed to represent similarly the balloon Ted lost when he was 7? I thought it was well done. A little awkward at first because it's unexpected, but well done nonetheless.

I didn't have a problem with this episode or the floating away part. Good stuff.

No need to dumb the show down for the 2% who are too stupid to make that connection

Quote: https://twitter.com/HimymCraig/statuses/433110160291008513 The end of an era for this wonderful sitcom. I can't believe the cast is going to be film the last episode ever in a matter of days.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
No it's smart. You can't have the finale out there for too long for the risk of the plot or even show being leaked. This is usually a break period for shows as well as most typical final 7-10 episodes are expected for a May release.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
It's more of a production thing. TV production generally runs eight-to-five weeks before airdate depending on how deep into the season it is. If the episode airs March 31st, they'll be filming in mid-to-late February.

Tonight's episode was hilarious and sweet. I'm all for more scenes with Ted and the Mother too They already have strong chemistry.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
Yet another fantastic episode.
Standouts:
- Judge Fudge of Gotham City - "It was a stressful three weeks" - "You son of a me!" - The tables turning on Lily's lesbian obsession with Robin to where Robin is now obsessed with Lily
Best line:
- "Dude, you're a grown man! Why are you throwing a tantrum?"

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
Well with that ending it seems pretty obvious that By 2024 Ted's wife is dying of cancer by that "What mother wouldn't be there for her daughter's wedding line, and him crying like that

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
Maybe not. The creators revealed there will be a twist in the finale. Maybe she beats whatever she has? I just can't see her dying in the finale.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - The Final Season
Ya she's dead by 2030.
This episode and espeically the Time Travelers one confirm she's dying.
I will not be ble to take it.
