 Most Overhyped film of 2013? Which film of 2013 did not meet expectations???
Or in other words was overhyped and the end result was nowhere near as good as expected based on hype and buzz?
Which film promised to be of great quality and ended up being nowhere as good? Also take into consideration the box office performance of the film as well

However no doubt MOS did not meet quality expectations based on audience ratings, critics scores and its box office legs.
Sure its legs were just as good as IM3 however MOS was an origin film and also had Christ Nolans name attached.

I don't give a fuck what you all say now, some people were predicting like $600m, $700m etc. for that piece of shit. Besides box office predictions, it was over-hyped so much.

Re: Most Overhyped film of 2013? Escape Plan. I saw more posts from Algren alone for that film than for all the other films released this year combined. And then one guy was predicting $80m and it couldn't even do one third of that.

Would like to know the "very, very disappointing" excuses, it had the best villian, the best fights, best effects, origin story was told differently, it had a very likeable and debatable end, plus Cavill, Adams, and Shannon were great and Crowe, Costner, Keaton and Fishburne did an awesome job. Re: Most Overhyped film of 2013? Man of Steel works as pure entertainment for me. Nothing more, nothing less. I blame the pitch-perfect trailers for expecting more. I've come to peace with it not being anything special.
And I highly doubt Man of Steel would have a better reputation if it would have been more funny. That's just a stupid argument. If done good, a superhero-movie can please even if it's deadly serious. Imagine that.
