 Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Glenn has been kind of useless for a while now. I won't be sad if he goes. But I doubt he's going to die.
Another great episode. The water is getting too much attention to not be a major factor in something going on. It's practically a supporting character.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Don't know if it means much, but the 4th episode of Season 3 featured the deaths of T-Dog and Lori. I hope this year's 4th episode has the same impact!

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) OK, I get that I guess. Follow up question, what is with this new attitude that you don't have to kill walkers? I think Dale would disagree. The only way to stop the zombie plague is to kill every zombie. This is why Hershel should not be making decisions or have any influence on the group.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Carl was the first one to pop in my head when we saw those burned bodies last week. I don't think he has the upper body strength though.
I think he's going to be the lead of the show by 2015 and be in full crazy mode after Rick dies.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) I like this season so far (hated the third), but, do they ever plan on changing that ugly as hell prison setting?
Also really glad they got rid of Carol. Glenn and others are still left but with Lori, Carol and Lauren Holly gone, it seems like the show is moving into the right direction.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Wonderful, wonderful episode tonight. Perhaps my favorite since the pilot. So nice to escape the prison (pun intended) and its fairly tired dynamics. Complicating the Governor is an inspired choice.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Fantastic Governor double-header. I was a big fan of The Governor last season, but I didn't realize how much we missed in not getting a proper look at the character. It was a gamble to devote two entire episodes to the "villain", especially with next-to-no scenes of Rick's crew, but it paid off.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4) Certainly an intense episode. A few moments may be too contrived, though, most notably the girl unearthing a zombie in the sand, and the mother coming to the prison with her body at a key dramatic moment. The mechanical, nihilistic quality of their fates in relation to the Governor's relapse into evil almost undermines how much I love the two previous episodes. What a brutal end for Hershel. But otherwise a strong episode. Well I think they did give him the rightful ending since the Governor pretty much dies the same way he did in the comic book with a few alterations. Yes, in both versions it was during a raid where the baby died also. Both times people in his side turned against the governor. The comic book version it was a bunch of his followers when they saw him shoot Lori and her baby.
