To me it seems like he's combining what he considers to be the "greatest" films with his favorites from growing up, which is what almost everybody has done so far. I guess that's your problem with it though, since that's been your problem with every list.  Aren't you at least happy that he isn't another mega-Kubrick fanboy?

While horror is my fave genre, it's the one that has it harder to appear in my list. As I told you, it's probably the only genre where really bad movies are still enjoyable, and for one to show up in my top 100, it really has to blow me out of the water. And a lot of times, I really enjoy 75% of a horror movie but the rest drags it down. It may be somewhat nonsensical, but it's the way I tick. Btw, if you haven't, try to watch some movies from a British director called Norman J. Warren. They are mostly all from the mid 70s. There is one called The Terror, that in parts (lighting, someone getting entangled in a specific material, witches) seems to show that the director watched Suspiria the year before. It also has 'Chewbacca' as a mechanic uttering only one line in the whole movie. Still, there is gonna be 3 more horror movies in the list. Two very well known ones and one that's really more a black comedy/grand guignol Apart from this one I did also watch Satan's Slaves and Inseminoid. Another one called Alien Prey I have in my queue. The others I haven't been able to locate. _________________
