"Community" is returning on January 2nd.  Also, Chicago Fire spin-off, "Chicago PD" premieres right after SVU on Wednesday, January 8th at 10pm.

Not that it means much but NBC's sitcom flop, Sean Saves the World was picked up for 4 scripts.

During sweeps in November there's going to be two weeks where they air "Parks and Rec" back to back, another week where an "SNL" special will air, and another time when "The Voice" will air a live episode in the 8pm hour. In December they have that Carrie Underwood Sound Of Music and a Kelly Clarkson Christmas special.

Unfortunately I know it's impossible as Adam Pally is contracted to "Mindy" now and Damon Wayans Jr. has a development deal with FOX, but one can dream.

American Idol will have a 2-night premiere starting January 15.
The Following will return Monday, January 20.
New comedy Enlisted will premiere Friday, January 10 @ 9:30 pm.
Greg Kinnear drama Rake will debut after football on Sunday, January 19, before moving into the Thursday @ 9 pm slot on January 23 (I guess Glee will go on hiatus).
Chris Meloni comedy Surviving Jack will air Thursdays @ 8:30 pm for eight weeks while Idol is reduced to a half-hour results show.
