So what was Mulan going to say to aurora? That she's in love with her?

Yet another amazing episode. Rumple-centric ofc.

Writers need to realize this hosw is all about Regina and Rumple. The more scene with them the better.

Sidenote: Regina's one liners are getting better by the episode.

I think Emma's a pretty good main character with enough avenues emotion wise. Hook is fun obviously. I think weak link has been Snow and Charming since the curse broke and they didn't have a will they or won't they anymore. Guessing that'll work itself out if they kill Charming causing Snow to be more interestingly caught between dark/anger and good

Strong episode, think it was my 2nd favorite this year after Tinkerbell's

The flashbacks have been excellent this season. So much more fresh than Lost's by the start of season 3. And they've done it while saving all but 1 Emma flashback for later, while Jack had been milked dry by this point (the tattoos episode was S3E09). The characters being able to interact with each other in the past is a huge advantage for coming up with new flashbacks deeper into the show

Lana Parrilla OWNS this show and there's nothing the writers can do to make us hate her.

She's becoming a bit too one-note for my taste actually. All of her acting choices and emotional beats are the same in every episode.

Episode last night was solid though aside from the godawful visual effects (again with this! Why did Ursula have to be so terribly computer-animated at the end?! They couldn't have just had an actress do this?). I can't wait until the action moves back to Storybrooke soon though - if you really look at the overall arc this season almost nothing has happened in six episodes.

JoAnna Garcia was wonderful as Ariel though and a perfect casting choice. I got definite Amy Adams vibes from her performance.

This could very well be my fave episode of the show ever....

So Peter Pan is Rumple's dad?... wow.

Yeah this show in its best moments is :zonks:

I loved the performance of Rumple's dad so much. The ultimate Peter Pan syndrome, LOL. It's in the crazy eyes.

Catching up. The acting on this show is so bad sometimes :P They definitely need to recruit better child actors - the only one that has worked so far was Bailee Madison as young Snow. The kid playing young Rumple was horrible.

I'm bored with this Neverland business. They can go back to Storybrooke now please.

That was one of my favorites too. The writing was so on the money psychologically/internally/etc. in scenes like Regina and Rumple at the beginning, Pan's gloating at the regret tree and Regina's potion - and the Neverland scenes had the feel of its own little epic movie. Even the score felt abnormally relevant

Regina is simply an amazing, dynamic character. The show is otherwise very good but it's elevated by a 1st tier character that fell into their laps. For the anti-hero/anti-villain trend lately I would put Tony and Walter first, but may put her above anyone else including Vic Mackey, Ben Linus, Stringer Bell and Boyd Crowder (not counting Dexter since he's a "good guy" more clearly, though I feel he may be the overall best tv character ever, even if the rest of the show is a million times worse)

Lana Parrilla deserves an Emmy for last night's episode.

Well probably my least favorite of the season. I liked the Storybrooke plot especially Emma having her best episode in a while, but the flashback felt like 'well we have to find something for them to do'. Snowing centrics are pretty tapped out, they could still go younger and find stories before they met, though. Also I have a feeling the King George/Caleb Nichol actor is busy and that's restricting their plans

Bothered me that Blue Fairy got taken out so easily too and running instead of defending herself, for like one of the most powerful beings in history. I guess she didn't what the shadow was capable of and it happened quickly, but eh. Guess they could have Tinkerbell bring her back as a way to prove herself, though.

I wonder if Felix is the thing Pan loves most.

If you cut the final 2 minutes, this could have been a great series finale.

I watched the last two episodes today. The one from last week was borderline unwatchable. I cannot stand this show and its insistence on using some of the worst visual effects I've EVER seen. That Medusa storyline, in addition to being completely pointless, was so poorly constructed that at some points it looked like I was watching a computer game from 1993. I don't know why they keep doing this - the first season didn't rely on the special effects nearly as much.

The midseason finale was decent though and the ending actually went in a direction I didn't expect. SO glad this Neverland business is done - it was a mess.

Rebecca Mader's Wicked Witch from Oz in the promo for the episodes in March looked like a hot mess though. Oy.

I liked the midseason finale, and I don't think Rumple is dead. I am sure he will be back in the Enchanted Forest but without any powers. It looks like the Wicked Witch of the West is the new villain Too bad we have to wait until March.

You can't tell me you seriously believe those effects are good or 'charming' or anything of the sort. They're just awful and distracting.

Also, I hope they give Ginnifer Goodwin more to do in the second half of the season. I love her but so much of her work this season has been so one-note.

No. This is a flop.

There's NO REASON this couldn't have been a flesh and blood actor instead.
