OK. This situation is becoming a rather large headache for me, and I am sure the rest of the mods as well. We are all regular members like yourselves, we want to enjoy the site as much as you. I have noticed myself hopeing that when I wake up and check the site there won't have been any major fights that ill have to deal with. I don't even get to talk movies, I talk semantics and who said what.

I don't like it.

I will be talking to baba, something is going to have to happen because this is getting ridiculious. If you think just goldie is to blame for this, your very wrong.

I know Im being nitpicky here but I notice one of the worst behaviors on some of the mods was when two mods were arguing against each other. Sometimes I wonder that if you become a mod, you should set a good example for posters instead of engaging in arguments or even provoking one. Like I said I seen two mods go at each other, it was just too funny

The problem I see is steaming with some posters themselves. When some particular poster talks about a particular movie and was in no way antagonizing anyone else, someone just in the middle of the page just spout off "Rocky Sucks" or "AVP sucks" although I do agree that AVP sucks. Like out of nowhere at all. I get my fair share of people just shouting off "King of the Hill sucks" when I try to make a valid point too. Just that some posters do it to piss off others but I usually ignore the comments

BTW I have seen Spinal Tap and it just sucks ass that its going to make it on my bottom 50 list

Do you care to pm me the thread or who the two were? I only mean to ask because I realize you may not be comfortable mentioning which MODs, and I don't remember this thread (or was part of it, so didn't notice). Alot of MODs stick to their respective forums, so miss alot in other places. Don't mind, I don't care if I was part of it, it would be good to know so that we can catch our own habits in the future.

Also, Goldie, your first post mentioned how I edit alot of posts. Trust me, warnings get dished out too, they're just done via pm, so aren't made public all that often. I've warned several people in these forums already, and have made special requests to cease (some action or another) of a good handful more.

Seriously guys, Eagle worked hard to install the ignore button, please use it. I know I (as a MOD) will not be using it, and most other MOD and admin won't either, so no one has to worry stuff will be said "behind their backs." We'll still see it. This feature is to make the place more enjoyable for everyone.

Also as I said in my piece I think there should be a locked thread with the announcements of the warnings - that way everyone will have the information.

And I don't think that there is a problem with the open warning message as Baba has pointed out warnings on me when he gave them - maybe some right but as I pm Baba maybe some wrong.

not at all. But by picking on him just because hes goldie, i'm in no position to put any kind of banning in place later on. All he has to say is that the behaviour he displays is something hes being subjected to as well so why the hypocrisy. And frankly, attleast one of us admins feels that goldie is right in the issue.

Look, I'll be back in montreal sunday and will prolly wait till tuesday before i start concerning myself with the site. Eagle and I have decided that we'll have a talk on the entire matter.

Till then, if theres no need to pick on a person (meaning a person isn't warranting it), i fail to understand why people wanna jump in and start a fight.

Yup; when i come on KJ these days im on the auto-defense mechanism and i think you guys are being too liberal towards some users that constantly provoke it. I mean they never really get grief for the way they constantly go on; yet a few weeks ago i couldnt even voice my opinon without being checked; its the constant agressiveness they bring to the forums that always changes a debate into an immature flamewar.

Im not criticising and i can definately understand the kind of position your in with a community of banned BOMers; i guess now that the moving value has worn off and the alliances have found each other that things are changing

I wasn't picking on him. He's not some little 5 year old, so why is he being handled like he is? I'll be presenting my case to you both when you get this discussion going, and honestly, outside of him having compromising pictures of you, Eagle, and a goat, I see no reason why you would say that he's not at fault for the things he's been doing. It almost seems like he is purposely aggrivating the situation, because he knows he's been given immunity here.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation! Don't let this nonsense spoil anything, but it does need dealt with, as I don't feel either of you have all the facts of the situation that are instigating a lot of things here.

Here's my suggestion...

Start everybody from scratch with a clean slate and bury the past. The next person to dig up the past, make a snide remark, attack someone, start up a fight (overtly or not-so-overtly), or reply openly to a snide remark regarding this situation gets the boot for a week with no exceptions or whining about what so and so did in the past. Second offense they get the boot for a month. Third they get perma-banned. No warnings, no whining, etc... It's all very clear in black and white and if someone can't drop it... they'll eventually be shown the door.

Now, onto more important issues. Where do we stand with my 10 requests? I was told you guys would entertain any suggestions.

Nice comments about the stand up Eagle above in your other posts. Still mad about the times that you / others pointed things out to him and he said - you guys were making something out of it that wasn't true. Or as Eagle correctly pointed out that there is only a small group that is involved in this, but mav in the past always talked about 100 %.
