Elissa makes the replacement nom? Didn't know that. She'd best choose wisely there.
Spencer isn't much better, as best as I can tell. Though I didn't expect much better from him.

Re: Big Brother 15
Spencer hasn't been fired but he's now the third houseguest in less than two weeks whose employers have felt the need to make a public statement on their comments.
(my five are: people I genuinely like [1-2], people I find funny despite not really playing a game [3], people I want to like more and, given the competition, is probably the best player in there [4], and.... I don't know, she's the least invisible of the invisible? [5])
1. Elissa 2. Judd 3. Amanda 4. McCrae 5. Candice
(these four have drifted off into "Who?" territory, even with a decent amount of TV time)
6. Howard 7. Jessie 8. Andy 9. Helen
(these six range from the irrelevant to the downright hateful)
10. Kaitlyn 11. GinaMarie 12. Nick 13. Aaryn 14. Spencer 15. Jeremy
It sounds like Elissa is going to put up Nick as the replacement nom. Which could be really interesting. He'd have the votes to stay because of the Moving Company alliance, but since people like Andy, Helen, Judd, Amanda, etc. all find Nick "sketchy," they'll be very flummoxed if the rest of their supposed alliance mates (McCrae, Howard, Spencer) all vote to keep him. And then things could get fun.

Here are examples, compiled and expanded from the above sources, video clips, and other sources:
GinaMarie said that, because of her income level, she receives “nigger insurance” (she whispered the n-word, so it’s possible she said the version that ends with “a”). She whispered it to both Nick and Andy, neither of whom challenged her.
GinaMarie said Helen, who’s Asian, “should be kissing our ass and serving us some fucking rice.”
Aaryn said of Andy, “No one’s gonna vote for whoever that queer puts up.” She also suggested he’d win MVP because “people love the queers.”
Aaryn said about Candice, who’s black, “be careful what you say in the dark; you might not be able to see that bitch.” (A month ago, Aaryn tweeted, “Attractiveness comes from inside. What would you look like if your looks mirrored your words and actions?” So much irony.)
GinaMarie said Candice “gets that fuckin’ blackness,” referring to Candice’s reaction to something that happened in the game.
Aaryn said of Helen, “Shut up. Go make some fucking rice.”
Talking about sheets that smelled bad, David said they were that way because “black Candice” was on them, and then admitted, “that was totally racist.”
Jeremy, who calls the house’s women “bitches,” said of Katilin, “I did touch her vagina today.. she didn’t act like she was happy.. I like to feel around see what’s she’s working with.. see if it’s a nice meat wallet … I know she’s on her period.”
Spencer called Andy “Kermit the fag”; Amanda called Andy “Faggoty Ann” (McCrae later called her out for that language, but she defended it).
Spencer said that the medical torture conducted by Nazi doctors was beneficial and praised Hitler’s speaking abilities, even while acknowledging that he’d be criticized for that.
Katilin said she likes gay people but they’re “untrustworthy in a game like this.”
McCrae said, “If I’m talking to a girl, that probably means I don’t want to fuck her.”
Spencer referred to women as “cunts.”
GinaMarie said, “you know two blacks stick together. They’re like tokens.”
Ragan Fox, who was a cast member on the 12th season, asked in an open letter to producers, “What’s the point of casting racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities if production’s going to edit out the racism, ethnic discrimination, and homophobia that these people encounter inside the house?” and added, “If you really want to provide a groundbreaking twist, SHOW CBS VIEWERS HOW SOME STRAIGHT, WHITE PEOPLE talk about gays, Asian Americans, and African Americans.”
McCrae said, “If I’m talking to a girl, that probably means I don’t want to fuck her.”
What's the general opinion on this one? To me, misogyny is the clear distaste for women as human beings, referring to them as bitches, cunts, etc. and generally treating them as inferior. I don't feel McCrae's falls into that category.
The rest are pretty bad though. Especially Ragan Fox's. This conversation doesn't need his "holier than thou" soap box.

Ugh, Ragan was the worst. He was such a sanctimonious bore in BB12 who tried to quash any and all drama before it happened.
Andy seems to be duplicating him in many ways which is irritating.
And about the above, I don't think McCrae is a bad person. At least not compared to some of the rest of these people.

Re: Big Brother 15
Man, Aaryn is getting a terrible edit on the show even without showing most of her comments. And she loves clowns. That explains so much.
Edit: OMG they're actually showing the racist bullshit! Thank god. Good for you, Big Brother. Now it won't just be the feed watchers/followers who know what assholes some of these people are.

Downside: they left out Jeremy's gems. Though his misogyny came flying through last week, so. And the whole "Toot toot" thing. That's a crime in and of itself.

I've never seen production throw anyone under the bus as much as they just did with Aaryn 10 minutes ago. Except maybe Chima. So I doubt Jeremy has a shot in hell at ever winning MVP now due to association with her.

If Aaryn still had a job, she'd be fired from it now.
I'm surprised CBS showed what they did, but good on them for doing it. Now, if Wednesday's show can highlight Jeremy and his comments, maybe he can get fired from being a boat shop associate.

Re: Big Brother 15
It's weird to come away from a Big Brother episode feeling "triumphant," but I sorta did with this one. I was convinced CBS was never going to show the bullshit. And they didn't show all of it...but at least airing part of it is a start.
Also, I like that the editing propped up Candice and Helen in this episode.
Is it too much to hope that the "former houseguest with surprising news" soon to appear is someone coming to tell Aaryn and GinaMarie they've been fired from their jobs?

Amanda is pushing hard to keep Elissa and vote out Nick if he's put up as the replacement nom. I just don't know if they can do it because of McCrae, Howard and stupid Spencer, who are never going to vote out their secret alliance mate.
What I really want is for Elissa to put up Kaitlin. Because now Aaryn's batshit crazy self is turning against Kaitlin, as is Gina Marie. And I would laugh hysterically if Aaryn contributed to one of her only true allies getting booted.

These people...
I'm so glad CBS showed some of the things they have been saying last night.
