I agree that this season has been much better than the last.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
This was maybe the first episode where I didn't absolutely hate Marley/Kitty or the McKinley stuff, so I'll give it that. And most of the musical numbers were actually really good (except I can't get over how much of a ripoff that "Baby Got Back" number was ). And the Bruno Mars cover near the end was better than the original song The Warblers storyline was AWFUL though. AWFUL. Flaws and all, this season has been a massive improvement over season 3. Though I do agree a big reason for that is the NYC storyline, which continues to be great and the best part.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
Ech, the last episode was lame. Was I the only one who thought Rachel was gonna get mowed down by a cab during that scene where she was crossing down the street?
I do agree that this is still an improvement over season 3.
Sometimes I can't believe I'm still watching this show and feel juvenile for doing so, lol.

It's a nice episode. I even enjoy the stuff with the new characters. Kurt is acting fucking dumb though.

Don't follow this show since it came back from hiatus, but Kurt has always been annoying and fucking dumb.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
This episode was good because it was pretty self-depreciating about the inherent cheesiness present in most of the current plotlines.
Also, Santana's "wink wink nudge nudge" comment about New York was dumb but WONDERFUL because she needs to be on this show full-time saying catty things to Kurt and Rachel.
Sam has become the best character though. Thanks, CHORD OVERSTREET (type his name in all caps, it's more fun).
Does a single person who watches Glee actually miss Mr. Schu? Because I sure don't.

The last episode was really good, even though I fast-forwarded through the Marley/Jake Twilight number

 Re: "Glee" Thread
This Blaine/Tina storyline is gross.
EDIT:
Finn kissed Emma.
And this might be about the time I give up on Glee.

We've been blessed with mostly decent episodes for a while now, it's about time a bad one comes along Haven't watched yet either but probably will tomorrow morning.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
Tina rubbing VapoRub on Blaine's chest while crying was creepier than it was probably intended. Even when the writers give poor Jenna Ushkowitz actual screen time, it's in bizarre storylines like this.
And Finn kissing Emma was just idiotic. But Finn has become a much better character just being Mr. Schu's replacement. Matthew Morrison doesn't need to come back.
It also pains me to say it, but Sue has become totally superfluous. I wish Jane Lynch would just jump ship.
But they finally got Santana to New York! It's about time. And say what you will about Glee, but it looks like the best television show of all time compared to the likes of Smash.

I think it's the single worst thing the show has ever done, and that's saying a lot.

That Tina scene was the most uncomfortable this show has ever made me. I was sitting there with my jaw open kind of in shock at what I was watching and also that it was being played for tears.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
I just watched the last two episodes. What a fucking cluster fuck. Tina being in love with Blaine and Vapo raping him... What? Finn kissing Emma... What? Quinn sleeping with Santana... What? Rachel pregnancy scare... Really? Ryan Murphy incorporating the controversy of Lea Michele not being cast in the Funny Girl revival. Oh my GOOD LORD do I hope this becomes a big plot for the rest of the season. I would so love if she actually got cast in the fake Broadway revival. It would be hysterical. I will say that I am happy that Blain and Kurt may be getting back together and I loved "I'm Not Getting Married Today."

 Re: "Glee" Thread
The past episode was a hot mess. Can we just count all the crazy things going on in this?
-Emma leaves Will at the altar -Kurt and Blaine hook up, again -Rachel and Finn hook up, again -Quinn becomes temporarily bisexual and hooks up with Santana -Handicapped sex -Brody is a male prostitute, apparently -Rachel is probably pregnant
I did enjoy the "Anything Could Happen" performance, mostly because that song has been my jam for months.
Also, Jayma Mays is incredible on this show and never gets enough credit for it.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
They did everything except have Ryder, Marley and Jake have a three-way. Which seems totally possible with this crazy shitshow.

"Getting Married Today" was excellent. The rest of the episode was crazy but not awful Though Marley and the newbies continue to be as bland as ever and I fast-forwarded through half of their first musical number

 Re: "Glee" Thread
Fast-forwarded through all Unique/Ryder and Sue scenes this past week and it made the episode much more enjoyable I hate Finn though - Brody is much more likable despite his 'profession.' He sounded like an idiot at the end of the episode when they were fighting and he said "Stay away from my future wife"

Lord, is Ryder getting catfished now? Lame.
Also lame? Finn. Dude has serious psych issues. I just thought he had the I.Q. of a matchbox.

 Re: "Glee" Thread
I actually quite enjoyed "Feud." Glee has really just become a completely ridiculous show but it's so tongue-in-cheek now that I pretty much don't mind. Like, let's just do another checkoff of the disparate elements in this episode:
-Sue making Nicki Minaj faces into the camera for 30 straight seconds -Brody indeed being a gigolo, and then Finn appearing out of nowhere to pull a Tommy Wiseau and tell him to stay away from "my future wife" (plus...what was up with that CREEPY shot of Brody walking down the hallway at he end -The hilarious NSYNC/BSB mashup; Will and Finn fighting is like two bowling pins arguing -Santana being sassy and wonderful and the best thing about this show some more -Ryder's online girlfriend is probably Unique or something, lol
This show is just never boring so I must give it credit.
