Not too bad of a drop for THE RING TWO. It's headed for about a $41 million weekend, which is a great start!
Nice bumps for basically everything else.

That's about a 9% drop. Not good. It won't hit $40 million at this point, unless it drops under 30% for today.

So at the moment Ring 2 maybe will gross lesser in the US than Ring 1. A dissapointment.
I thought Ring 2 can make 300 Mio+ Worldwide. Now we have to wait.
Pacifier hopefully will make its 100+ (Very likely) and so thats already a surprising hit at least for me =D>

ROBOTS, PACIFIER and THE RING TWO all look as if they will inch past the $100 million mark.

Low for The Pacifier, Mad Black Woman, The Ring Two, and Hitch. High for Hostage and Robots.

It looked pretty bad to me just based on the trailers (and I loved the 1st film). Early reviews only confirmed it.
People were either in complete denial or sided against BKB just for shits and giggles.

Anyone who doubts Amityville Horror not having a chance at that 50 Million weekend might want to rethink that at this point.. \:D/

At this point, I would have to side with more in denial than for shit's and giggles.. I think the only shit's and giggle's that came out of this was walking out of the theatre after 2 hours of this..

No offense, but AMITYVILLE HORROR probably won't do $50 million. It will probably make around $30 million opening weekend and close with around $80-90 million. It has an R rating and as appealing as that is to most, it WILL hurt this film. The only R-rated films to ever make over $50 million have been THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, HANNIBAL, 8 MILE and THE MATRIX RELOADED. Those films had a LOT more hype surrounding them. I'm sure it will do well, but I just can't see it opening to that much.

I agree, I don't think that it can top 50m or even 40m, maybe 30m.
