Not sure about the rest of the year but this is all I could find on tvtome:
27-Mar-2005 The Ladies Who Lunch
03-Apr-2005 There Won't Be Trumpets
10-Apr-2005 Children Will Listen

March 27???

That's Easter Sunday! They always show the Ten Commandments!

IF that is indeed the schedule that means we're gonna have a few more weeks off in between f they want to drive it into the May sweeps.

Anybody hear about the new deal Teri Hatcher signed for year 2? I heard it on TV, and didn't look anywhere online, but if I recall the numbers correctly, she signed for $285,000 per episode, where she was "only" making $38,000 for the first year.

Smart girl. Technically she is worth more to the show and it's a huge financial hit, but the show will keep her career alive and provide her with other jobs. I'm glad she did the sensible thing and settled for a solid decent salary and didn't hold out for a million an episode or anything like that.

Yes, not only that, but it will keep the rest of the salaries in check. She's the top billed, she's the golden globe winner, and she's the biggest star on the show, before and since, so the other girls aren't going to be able to start making outrageous demands in good conscious.

Good for her. I'm glad that the cast seems to be a bunch that won't get too fussy about their salaries as long as they get payed decent money.

And again, these are all beautiful 40+ women (cept Longoria) and they can score a hell of a lot of other make-up or what have you deals with alot of companies.

As for $1 million, that is totally outrageous. I don't think anyone should even be thinking of that kind of salary for any one of these girls.

I think the minimum time needed would probably be to wait till end of season 3 and if the ratings are just as good as today and not under $20 million. they they can start asking for salries north of $750k, who knows what mess the networks will be by then.

Just watched the last new episode.

Terri Hatcher's reaction to the kiss was priceless. I had to watch it twice.

So when's the next new episode? March 27!?

I hope, but isn't Easter Sunday on abc always reserved for The Ten Commandments???

This Sunday is the sneak preview of Jake in Progress I believe, so what's on the following Sunday, the 20th??
I hope it's then!

Interesting. No Edie on the cover. While I agree that the four shown are the main ones, media coverage has usually been about the 5 of them, that I've seen anyway.

All four women look positively stunning on that cover.

I just read on MSNBC that the main actresses on desperate housewives were paid only 1,800 dollars per episode for this first season. And given a free mini car.

Just seems so low an amount for a network hour long big show like that, even if they did'nt know it was going to be a hit.

Terri Hatcher had gotten 38k an episode. The 1,800 figure is for "Eva Longorai and the other regulars".

As to the previous post... I think you mean $18,000, $1,800 is just nonsense.

I don't like the cover of the DVD box. While they all look stunning, it could have been ALOT better.

It seems as though the next new episode will infact be March 27, the sunday after the next. This Sunday will repeat the episode in which Susan and Edie boat away to throw Mrs. Huber's ashes, the only episode I have never seen.

I hope they continue the season all the way through with new episodes till the end. We have been on a like a 5 week hiatus! They should order 2 more episodes just like LOST, I mean it does get about 7 million more viewers than LOST, it's a no-brainer!

1,800 is what they said, it could have been a typo on the website though. It was under a list of people who were up and down (some sort of hotness meter) in the last week.

Here it is: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4043608/

Roll your pointer over the text by Eva Longoria.

Desperate Housewives just got the "Collect all 5" treatment from Entertainment Weekly.

This week, EW released its magazine in 5 different covers, each with a different Desperate Housewife on it.
I hope it reminds audiences that this show is STILL ON THE AIR. It's been on a 5-6 week hiatus.

I've been considering starting to watch this show. Obviously there are quite a few big fans out there. Anyone think I will like it?

Hehe.

I don't know if you should start watching now since the season is already on Episode 16... I'd say rent/blind buy the first Season in September.

It's just a TV show, it's not worth waiting 6 months just to see them in order. Go ahead and watch it now, Rogue.

I love this show A friend of mine downloaded the first twelve episodes and lend them to me: I watched the whole thing in two days. It´s funny as hell.

I think Bree is my favourite, and I just love the fact that she is a member of the NRA. Isn´t she like a "Terminator holusewife" or something? No stain or task is safe with her... Absolutely hilarious. And by the way, I´ve read her reaction line to Andrew coming out, and is incredibly great. If thed elivery is as good as usual, that is going to be a show-stopping moment.

But I like Gabrielle, too. Specially her reaction when caught by Mrs. Solis. No tears, no running, no screams. Just a stunned lokk and a great, cracking "Well, that it is" or something like that. Brilliant. I love the character for that reaction. And yes she is selfish and adulteous and proud and all, but also loving and fun... just human, like we all are.

Susan is ok, It gest on my nerves sometimes but I love the fact that they find new ways to embarass her in every episode. And I don´t understand the Lynette hatred... her kids are extremely annoying and she is just a survivor, trying to get through the day with lots of sarcasm, which only makes her funnier. It´s the type of person I´d like to be friends with in real life.

Definitely a great show. Keep me posted on the new episodes, please! I don´t know when will I get the new batch, maybe I´ll have to wait till the release of the DVD... also, I know one of the major networks here bought the show nad will air it soon, but till then, I have no one to talk about it to, and I´m going all crazy! ](*,)
