 My Breaking Bad catch-up thread Okay, so I haven't really started consistently watching a new TV series in a while except for The Walking Dead. I have also recently purchased the first season of Game of Thrones, but I am seriously pondering reading the book first.
So of the crop of the last two years or so...what else would you recomment me?
For reference TV shows that I have really enjoyed (or still enjoy):

Homeland is also fabulous.

Re: Recommend me a TV series to start watching As I mentioned in the other thread if you're a The Shield guy you should definitely pick the Wire. They're a good pairing in terms of tastes. And like 99% of people have the Wire ahead, even if it's Wire 1 and Shield 2 all time
edit - Just realized you said last 2 years. I would go Homeland or Breaking Bad.

God I love instant, I just caught up on the entire 80s of SNL, some of it actually wasn't the trainwreck its always called. Though a lot of stuff is missing, most likely the really craptastic stuff.
