Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Episode was good aside from everything involving Will and the atrocious "Sexy and I Know It" number.

"I Will Always Love You" is already going to be in Tuesday's episode as part of the Valentine's Day theme.

How the hell did they manage to time that? The first episode after her passing. A coincidence? Nah! Ryan Murphy was responsible for her death and used this to try and get Glee to #1 again. Shame on him! Just shame!

So Mike can sing now? LOL @ Simon, the gay apostle. I think I've said it before but I always thought Dave would be a better match than Blaine for Kurt. Made more sense.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Episode was actually pretty solid despite some problems I had with it (mainly the annoying add-on of Blaine at the end). Thought Amber Riley/Chord Overstreet in particular shined in this one, and Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell were great. Also, like 2 minutes total of Will helped

Well I love Blaine. But part of me kind of agrees about Kurt/Dave. Has Dave been back on lately? I kind of wish he would come back.

Predictable, but still.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Blaine might be the worst written character on the show (and that's saying something). I groaned when he showed up at Breadsticks in the last episode.
And let me just state that I have nothing against Darren Criss, who I do believe is talented. It's not his fault the character is atrocious.

I've gotten sick of the way he performs when he sings. So annoying.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
The first half of last night's episode was fantastic. I thought all the scenes involving Karofsky and his attempted suicide were well done (except for that awful bit where Will compares it to when he failed a math test, ugh). The rest was pretty terrible. And the cliffhanger was lame.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
I thought the music collage while Karofsky is trying to kill himself was horrible. The whole episode was just baaaad. And these were the lamest sectionals ever. So boring and uninspired song choices. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) is actually a slightly disgusting choice considering the suicide theme of the episode. If I wanna be stronger I should try to kill myself and hope to survive? WTF?

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Oh lord. The scene with Kurt and Karofsky in the hospital almost made me cry, not gonna lie. Very well played between the two actors amidst a thunderingly obvious set of plot developments.
But then the cliffhanger is that Quinn ignores The Dangers Of Texting While Driving and ends up in a horrible car accident? Ugh. It just felt cheap, like the biggest PSA the show has ever attempted. Dianna Agron also deserves better than the inexplicable material she is usually saddled with on this show.

That really was a random cliffhanger... I mean... I guess I'm looking forward to seeing how that's handled.

We know Lea and Chris are definitely back next season in some way. Any word on the rest of the seniors (Quinn obviously, Mercedes, Santana, Puck)

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
I thought it was a great episode, both the stuff with Dave and the cliffhanger, which I thought was handled surprisingly well. Will be interesting to see what happens next.
The Valentine's episode was also really good.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
They have ruined the Blaine character. His musical numbers have become over-performed. I used to love his facial expressions but now he just looks goofy. I don't blame Darren Criss. I believe he's being directed to look stupid now. His musical numbers have become cringe-worthy. "Somebody That I Used To Know" was fine, but "Fighter" was embarrassing. I also hate the way the character dresses. That doesn't help.
