Nice predictions, actually fairly similar to my own, although I have Hostage a bit higher.

What I meant is that in some games deadline still hasn't come, and as Scott is a excellent predictor, there might be some copying.

Nobody will copy his predictions, because they are really horrible! He won't even get a score of 97% with his predictions...

Oh, and great predictions. I enjoy reading it every week. Your predictions are very close to mine (except for The Passion: Recut), so I'm a little confident now.

Yay, kinda like mine! I shall hopefully do good this weekend. ^_^
And yes, a lot of the box office games have a deadline around noon on Friday, including mine.

Scott's predictions:
The Ring Two - 42.1m (NEW): I think you're underestimating this one. The PG-13-effect will be big and this is why I think it will do at least 50m. But to be honest, I also predicted 46m for this one, just to be safe this time...
Robots - 23.4m (-35%): yep, seems good to me
Pacifier - 11.0m (-40%): seems also good to me, but I don't know whether this will do 10m or 13m. 11-12m should be right in the middle...
Ice Princess - 9.4m: Interesting thing that we both belong to the minority who think that this one won't reach 10m+! I really hate the horrible trailer and with Robots and The Pacifier kids should have some good choices to elude this movie
Hitch - 6.2 (-30%): I think it will drop a bit more due to Ring 2 so it will end up with about 5.8-6m this weekend
Hostage - 5.6m (-45%): I have the same number, so we're dead on... hopefully...
Be Cool - 5.4m (-48%): yep, seems very good
Million Dollar Baby - 3.2m (-38%): another movie where we predicted the same number
Diary of a Mad Black Women - 2.2m (-55%): I agree that this one will drop really hard (theatercount, The Ring 2, ...)
Constatine - 2.1m (-45%): I think The Ring 2 will influence its weekend gross so we'll see a 50%-drop
Overall: I hope you're right with Ice Princess so we both get a 90%+ score on this one! Good job, Scott!

Any reason why you're going so low w/ The Ring 2? I thought you were a good box office predictor.

It could! I as well have Ice Princess below $10 million ($8.0 million for the derby and $9.5 million for the BO games). Seeing Scott V and Samweis, two of the best predictors around, with similar predictions to me makes me feel good.

Ice Princess could be a new Princess Diaries; certainly it wont have as big a first frame it should have due to RINGTWO but it should have decent legs...

He is a good box office predictor. I as well think he's going slightly low with The Ring Two, but who knows. And even then, that's one "wrong" prediction out of hundreds of spot on predictions he's had in his predicting career.
