 Ringer (CW) | 1st Season | Sept. 13th | SMG's back!!!! 
I read a new article on TV.com about the unfinished pilot. And it's obvious this is one of THE new shows of the season, if only for SMG's long awaited return to TV. Oh The Things We Have Seen: First Impressions of Ringer, Starring Sarah Michelle GellarQuote: First Thoughts: I just got finished watching and I'm still feeling nauseated from all the twists and turns. Re: Ringer (CW) | 1st Season | Sept. 13th | SMG's back!!!! I really liked it. Totally soapy but a lot of fun, and as you mentioned Sarah Michelle Gellar is watchable in just about anything. Also, the last twenty minutes or so were great. However, the green screen sequences were atrocious

It's off to a very nice start. If this had been on CBS I don't think it would have made it more than a season, but on CW I can see it lasting a while. Should perform well for them and I'd imagine be one of their bigger hits.

And it's nice to see a show on CW again that can actually attract adults.

-Being on after 90210, which isn't even close to a hit
-Being on the CW
-Premiering a week before the unofficial Premiere Week for most networks
I'm ten minutes into the pilot. Love it so far, but I also love how far they've come with an actress playing two parts. I remember how advanced it looked when Lisa Kudrow played Phoebe and Ursula "face-to-face" in the same scene on Friends.

Re: Ringer (CW) | 1st Season | Sept. 13th | SMG's back!!!! The only bad thing were the green screen scenes and solely because of the effects, not the story. Luckily they only amount to couple of minutes. I pretty much liked the whole pilot. I liked the tone, the pace, the actors... It didn't blow me out, but it definitely got me intrigued and I'm definitely sticking with this show.  Heck even if it outright sucked (which it doesn't, just the opposite) SMG is enough for me to stick with the show.

Re: Ringer (CW) | 1st Season | Sept. 13th | SMG's back!!!! Forgot to say. Stylistically and atmospherically the show hardly fits with any broadcast network. It wasn't a fit for CBS, but it ain't a fit for CW either. Though I can't really say that it fits with any network (broadcast or cable).

It fucking sucks this and New Girl are on at the same time.

Re: Ringer (CW) | 1st Season | Sept. 13th | SMG's back!!!! So the second episode didn't throw in as many twists but I was still intrigued. I think we need to start seeing more of Siobhan's story in Paris soon instead of just seeing her at the end of each episode.
I also feel like the story with Juliet is going to become a much bigger part of the overall story. If they don't take a typical route with it, it could turn out really good and give the show even more edge.
