Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Loved this episode! The original songs were surprisingly good. "Get It Right" was appropriately soaring (and man, when they really let Lea Michele sing, it's always worth it), and "Loser Like Me" was fun and not as cheesy as it could have been.
Some of the other originals were great. "Hell to the No" was the shit! And I loved Puck's "Big Ass Heart," and even Santana's hilariously rude "Trouty Mouth."
Also: BLAINE AND KURT ZOMG. Finally. I love that! Loved their duet on "Candles," and Kurt should really always sing Beatles ballads.
Other high points: the surprisingly effective Quinn-Rachel confrontation (Dianna Agron has grown leaps and bounds as an actress since the show started), Brittany's "I don't even remember putting that there" after the dirt in the locker
Low points: Kathy Griffin and Loretta Devine being underused, Sue punching the woman at Regionals (uhhh?)
But, yeah. GREAT EPISODE. Maybe the best of the season.

It was great. I though Lea Michele's vocals on her song were incredible and I loved the Mercedes song as well.

LOT better than the last few episodes.
LOVED 'Loser like me'
And my parents were about to call the police when I screamed at Klain scene. But really, I'd rather want them to be friends (so I can have Blain LOL).

SPOILER about Kurt/Blaine from working the show last week: Kurt returns to WMHS in 2x18 (two episodes into the show's April return). Blaine does not come with him.

Loved this last episode. LOVED everything with Kurt and Blaine. The duet was fantastic, and the kiss... WOW! Man I love Blaine. A lot of great original music in this one. When does this return in April?

The sooner Blaine and Kurt get out of The Warblers, the better IMO. Easily the most annoying part of the show right now.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
I've stopped buying the GLEE albums because for the most part I only listen to them once or twice and I'm done, but I'll definitely be buying the upcoming CD with just the Warblers music: http://www.amazon.com/Glee-Music-presen ... d_sim_m_10I'm glad they put this together.

Yuck! I definitely won't. Though I'm sure they'll be better to listen to when they aren't randomly and pointlessly integrated into episodes

I agree the stuff with the Warblers doesn't mix well into the show, but Darren Criss is an awesome singer and the songs are enjoyable.

Every song sounds the same. And he's not awesome. Compared to the other guys on Glee maybe, but most of them have sucky voices. We bitch about Britney not being able to sing, but reality is that only few people on Glee actually can and nobody cares about that.

One thing I don't understand.....he told Kurt that Kurt was trying too hard and should try to be part of the team..... well doesn't this Blaine kid, get the lead in every song they do...kindof like the Lea of that school????? sorry, but I hate when writers are idiots with their stories.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
So for the first time I thought Gwyneth was OK?... Anyway an OK episode. Random inclusion of that Filipino girl annoyed me (even though that girl can sing, though her lip sync abilities are somewhat funny). Also it's a blast how lame they try to incorporate Blaine and Kurt into the story. The always pop up at McKinley when there's an event or something. LOL. Hopefully when Kurt returns next week (and Blaine probably with him) this whole male academy and Warblers stuff will be done for good. Even though nothing much happened I liked this episode a lot. For the first time this season I actually thought the song choices and the interpretation was good and even pretty damn good in some cases...

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Decent episode. Paltrow's rendition of "Turning Tables" was great.
I'm sure they won't have any more with The Warblers now that Kurt will be back at McKinley and next season Blaine is supposed to be there too. As long as they keep Blaine around the rest of the season while Kurt is back I'll be good.

The Warblers Glee CD is the best yet . It's basically a Darren Criss album, and you can't go wrong with that.

Yuck. Will not be purchasing as The Warblers are the worst part of the show.
