It's a useless thread that serves only to advertise another site.

Normal Useless BS by you.

As it gives lots of stuff to talk about.

And KJ is fine with us going over there for Box Office Results, so I doubt that this one will make a difference.

PS. Why don't you lock every thread with a link to another site????? > Still waiting for an answer!!!!!! Trixster or anyone with more common sense.

There are plenty of threads in the box office forum dealing with the Oscar effect. You can discuss it in there.

Goldie, you got a response. Asking the same question again won't change the answer. Your thread was locked, you asked for justification, it was given. Accept the answer and move on.

So People or MODS aren't allowed to be questioned about possible mistakes.

He stated that it had a link to another site > So I pointed out that lots of other threads do also.

He stated that I can talk about it in another thread > Well I pointed out to him that no other thread has this info!

He allowed others to post threads > Full OSCARS List: Win Counts by Movie > Like this for example, that doesn't even list the individual Oscar winners. Which is what people have been debating for months

Also, my thread ties the Oscars to the Box Ofiice.

******************

Lastly, he has posted that he doesn't like me...so why shouldn't I question if he was right in locking my thread.

***************************

And to you, as Owner, What harm does it do to have a thread open in a slow moving Oscar form that isn't a duplicate thread?

Wish you would do the right thing and open the thread > so there would be more to talk about? As looking how the Movies do after the Oscars, is still a big part of the Oscar Season.

Well that is my 2 cents. Hopefully you can give a fair response.....

Admins and mods are asked to make decisions on threads to keep discussion on topic and pair down duplicate threads. He was doing his job, and felt that your topic served no additional value. You asked him why, he gave you a valid response:

You're not going to like every decision they make, but this is such a trivial issue. It's one thread, there are other threads you can discuss similar topics in. No one is trying to quash your voice, one thread was removed. The fact that you're up in arms screaming nonsense about it is exactly why trixster doesn't like you. You make an admin or mods job harder, you whine and complain, and your writing 'style' is akin to a 10 year olds stream of conscious.

Let it go.

Not really surprised that you gave a BS response. As you have always stood behind BAD MODS and never took them to task.

And if all threads should only stay open if they can't be discussed in other threads, then a lot more should be closed and locked daily.

Also I would love to tell me why the thread isn't good. As it shows the 2010 Oscar winners and then the present BO Totals. Plus then the future BO can be seen.

That is no where else in an Oscar Forum. Very Pathetic.

So wow that is such a bad thread to stay open in an area which will be pretty slow for the next 9 months.

You'll get no more responses from me, I've explained as best I can above. Let it go. If you're incapable of that, please feel free to talk to yourself in this thread.

Well. No good Answers. At Least, unlike your Mods. Who make a stupid comment and then lock the thread. Unfairly. And then hide forever.

And hopefully one day you will get a decent Mod who will actually help out members of the board.

Like my question, what is wrong with my thread??? That is a important Oscar thread that wasn't detailed before.

Think Trixster was just jealous that again I posted a topic that others missed.

Dah. How about listing the Oscar Winners.

And also why is he not closely all the other Duplicate threads.

Other than he is a crybaby who is jealous of me.

and last time I posted this a jealous Mod deleted this, I wonder who?

A valid question as I was just asking all, what they are doing today.

Can someone just take Away Trixster ability to close threads.

Just opening new movie threads seems the limit of his abilities.

Anyway, I post a thread about Obama flipping his position on closing Gitmo. a newsworthy item that I saw on tonights news.

But he locks it without even letting anyone explain their views on the issue.

Sorry but the guy is a tool and just seems very clueless.

There was no link to any news story, and you even stated "not much to add". If you want your threads to stay open, there needs to be some substance to them.

Yup, you are a f'ing tool. So try to stick to just posting new movies.

Anyway, it is a story that is in the news. That is enough. And I am just stating the point and anyone can respond, if they want to.

So sorry but I don't need to go into more points.

PS. Fool. Is it in the rules that a thread needs a link. Nope, didn't think so.

Whatever Waste. Just hope KJ finally wakes up, gets some balls and straightens you out.

And just like picking others threads, all one has to do is start a question or make a point...and then it can take off. Or it can just be a statement. Especially newsworthy topics.

Anyway, take the Charlie Sheen Mel Gibson crazy thread. No Links. No Reference. Just ask the question and let it go. And it turned out into a great thread

Mainly cause a fool didn't lock it.

Whatever Argos as you are a punk here 99 % of the time.

And whatever if you and the clueless Mod aren't smart enough to realize, Gitmo is a news worthy topic.

Just like my other thread of listing the Oscar winners, when no one else thought to.

You seem to, as you have been following me around for years.

And sorry that you seem as clueless as Trixster.

Like for example on the Oscar thread, I know it would be a good idea to have an Open Oscar thread showing the 2010 Winners and their BO. Considering that area is going to be dead for 6 months. So anyone who goes there would have something to look at and a place to talk about.

So still not sure why Trixster and Eagle are being some hard asses, considering that thread being open would hurt nothing and give enjoyment to the masses.

And on Obama, he is the President.. so things that he deals with are news worthy...in the bloody Political forum.

Except when a clueless Mod who doesn't seem to understand is in charge. And he seems jealous of the great topics that I bring up.

Considering all he has ever done is insult me...not that I would expect more from him, as he doesn't seem that smart.
