Nice, the least points the Lakers have ever given up.

So the East has 4 Boston players and 3 Miami players. Glad to see the Blakester get in. K Love will probably get the final spot over Aldridge. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dirk take the night off though so both could be there.

Lakers are in trade talks for Melo.
I'm assuming just to drive the price up.

But Cuban just doesn't want to give up on Butler/Roddy B. Which is stupid because the whole team is Dirk and Dirk has maybe one more great year left in him so the time is now.
Dallas with Melo has a shot at wining it all this year. Without, they'll go to the Western Conference Finals at best. I've been saying this all year. They could even convince Carmelo to stay once he gets used to Texas. Makes a lot more sense than Nash.

Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Just read on ESPN that the Lakers are in the mix now. Denver wants Bynum and Melo said he'd sign an extension in L.A.
Lakers luck into a great player every couple years so this would actually make a lot of sense. Melo would be a great fit too. Kobe will still be able to hog the ball.

Yes, but only cause of the NFL thread/reality show. My bad on double reporting. Can someone please help the Cavs blow their team up? I'm sick of seeing these bums pretend to play basketball.

Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Dang. After watching so many seasons of pathetic Nuggets seasons when I was a kid I enjoyed us making the playoffs every year since Melo got there. Now he wanted out, which is his right. I don't mind that he went to NYC. I do mind that he hijacked half our season and Chauncey. We'll still make the playoffs this year, but it still stinks to lose players like that.
It goes to show that the way the current NBA structure is set up the Diva players can go anywhere they want to. It's not good for small markets (unless you can build on someone who isn't a Diva a la San Antonio and the Zombie Sonics, but those are few and far between).

Get ready for a year and a half of Dwight Howard/Brooklyn Nets talk. It wouldn't surprise me if it's already done. Deron and Howard in Brooklyn post 2012

Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
The Nets must have been up to this all along. I can't fathom how they'd think giving up 4 first rounders for Anthony would be better than 2 for Williams. Very smooth Czar Prokhorov.
Apparently D-Will isn't all that happy about it. If Jersey makes a run at the playoffs maybe that will change.

Re: NBA 2010-2011 Season
Green will actually help against the Heat. That's the only bright side I see right now. That and these moves are good for their future. They need to sign Green though and get that guy from the Warriors.
