They won't be attached because of the different studios involved (Ring Two/Dreamworks, Amityville/Dimension, House of Wax/Sony), but there's a pretty strong chance that theaters will show the trailers anyway.

Oh Amityville Horror IS gonna beat The RING II and do so in an embarrassingly sort of way... The One Sheet for Amityville looks awesome, the trailer is awesome, the rating is awesome, the look, everything about it looks awesome and I think once teens and folks in general see this movie, you will quickly forget about The RING II.. Just you wait and see.... =D>

If it's only attached to CURSED, i rekon maybe $20M-$25M.
Still, it's GONNA be a hit.
It's gonna be shocking how much Amityville makes in it's opening weekend and will far exceed analyst and internet box office expectations..

Amityville is MGM.
House of Wax is Warner.

Just saw a Ring Two tv spot............. CRAP does seem like a total rehash in a sense.

Amityville is an MGM/Dimension co-production, and to my knowledge all of Dark Castle's films have had split distribution responsibilities between both Sony and Warner Bros. Either way, they're not Dreamworks.
And no, The Ring Two trailer was not attached to prints of The Grudge -- Boogeyman was.

Actually, The Ring Two trailer was shown before most prints of The Grudge, however whether it was attached or not is another issue.

Sony doesn't involve in House of Wax.
It is Warner Bros/Village Roadshow co-production. (Like Ghost Ship)

I saw another tv spot aswell, the one where its just black and white and just shows alot of creepy things going on was pretty effective - but the one where they show clips from the movie was very weak.

I'll lower my prediction this weekend if the trailer isn't attached to BE COOL. Because otherwise, it's only attached to CURSED.

Horror fans, TRUE Horror fans and folks in general bitch about studios hacking R-Rated Horror movies and watering them down for PG-13 in an effort to make more on DVD in a Director's Cut R-Rated Edition and studios will tell you that PG-13 Horror puts more butts in the seats and makes more than a Restricted R-Rated movie would, but The Amityville Horror will be the Godsend, the answer to all the brouhaha over whether an R-Rated Horror movie can open up big or not and this one is gonna be BIG.. No one will OWN me on this... The screening reviews for this so far have very positive complete right down to ther total Grimness and Dread in the movie and that's awesome.. The RING II will be OWNED By The R-Rated Amityville Horror.. Bet me..

Amityville made 80 million, which in todays terms is about 200 million!!!!

No offense, but you strike me as someone who's extremely hard to please when it comes to movies??? True or false?? It just seems like you come across as a little overly nitpicky in other movies thast have been discussed and this one doesn't seem to be any different..

Really?? That bad huh?? Isn't Godsend the one with Robert Deniro or someone like that?? And I definitely didn't hate The RING, But I didn't like it all that much either.. My problem with it was that it just wasn't scary and I think the folks who go on and on I notice on other sites about this are willing themselves to think it was scary when it's really not.. I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion and all, I really do, but come on.. It really wasn't all that it was cracked up to be and the sequel looks equally as repetitive as the 1st one....

To be fair, The Ring really wasn't all that scary. Granted, I was more psychologically distrubed then anything, but I really wasn't scared. Of course I also watched it in an interesting way (on my laptop, switching between the movie and a "parental review" site that listed the "Jump Scenes and "Frightening Scenes"... ) ... and then there was the fact that I watched The Ring, Dreamcatcher and The Exorcist all within a 3-day period.
