Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
This was one of the better episodes this show has produced. It had all of the elements of what makes this show great. So far so good.
I don't think I like how much of stunt episodes they're making early on. I'll be happy if those turn out to be great episodes with added stunts rather than average episodes that try to mask that with stunts.

And it was a stupid jock comment to which the new guy replied with a comedic answer. I wouldn't read too much into it. Heck when they showed the guy the first time in the courtyard my first thought was "Wow. Steven Tyler mouth!" so maybe writers added that line to say out loud when a lot of people probably thought of. And I don't see the importance of knowing who the guy is who. What's up with spoilers and knowing what's going to happen 6 episodes down the line. Enjoy the ride peeps.

On the fictional character's Facebook he said: What do you think about the idea of me being Kurts boyfriend?[I] So it's very likely going to happen.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
FOX When is Britney Spears on 'Glee'? That question has been a hot topic since it was first announced the show would do an all-Britney salute to the singer. The second season of 'Glee' just kicked off in exciting fashion, with the addition of Filipina singing sensation Charice as the regular recurring character of Sunny Corazon. Now all eyes are waiting to find out when the vaunted, and much-maligned Britney Spears will take center screen on the Fox hit television show. Much like in the first season of 'Glee' when they dedicated an entire episode to Madonna, season two will have not one, but two episodes dedicated to Britney Spears. The first Britney Spears tribute -- entitled 'Britney/Brittany' -- will air as the second episode of season two on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 8PM ET. Also like season one, season two will take a break over the holidays and resume airing new episodes in early 2011. 'Glee' will then return right after Super Bowl XLV with the second Britney Spears episode. Spears herself has been confirmed to make a cameo in an anesthesia-induced dream sequence at the dentist's office for the first episode. While there is no confirmation yet about the second episode, considering it is set to air in such a high-profile slot after the Super Bowl, our guess is Britney will play a much larger role in the second.http://music.aol.com/blog/2010/09/23/wh ... s-on-glee/

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
And dis is tha true promo for her new album, which isn't expected till early 2011.
The first episode seems to be her earlier career, and the second will probably begin with her Blackout album (Gimme MOAR, Piece of Me, etc) and go up to her new single.

Whoa, they are going to air an episode after the Super Bowl? Glee and the Super Bowl don't really go together. It's a little too "gay" for that audience, but whatever. It will be awesome exposure for a show that I didn't think could get any bigger than it already is.

And the show will be on its typical winter hiatus at that point too so it will be nice to have a new episode.

They had to use a lesbian fantasy sequence to lure in the guys. Also, Glee is set in a high school with a football program. Makes sense.

I think it's stupid to do that, especially with the show being such a big hit.

Maybe this episode will revolve around a game or something, with singing of course . Maybe they should open this one with a lesbian fantasy, like between Sue and the new coach .

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Fairly epic episode tonight. Even before this episode Brittany was one of my favorite characters. Was cool having a Brittany-centric episode. I hope she'll have more to do this season than the occasional hilarious one-liner (speaking of which, the Dr. Pepper line tonight made me laugh-out-loud), and I have a feeling she will.
Also, I really like that new coach.
As for Rachel, I'm still not feeling her this season. She's always been self-centered, but she's just rubbing me the wrong way now.

Yeah, some1 mind explain' how so many people fucked up like the most iconic pop song of the last 15 yurrz up?
The people who did the remix and directed Lea in the studio while she recorded BOMT need to be slapped in the face. It and the fucking Paramore at the end were shizzy.
But I really liked the rest of it. It was a very fun episode. I liked Britney's cameos. Cheerleaderney.

Flipping channels, saw part of this... Can anyone explain what is the damn point of the show? The acting is awful, the plot is ridiculous and it seems to me that it's just a bunch of unattractive people trying to be attractive.
Right?
Right?
