It's not much, but I think this will be great.

It doesn't show much at all that's true, though the few glimpses are very positive. HBO + ASOIAF = classic TV.

Dany was re-cast ( I thought the original casting was ugly so I'm happy).

New Dany:

Yeah the last Dany was the only problem I had with casting. She was very ugly for a character who is supposed to be beautiful. This is one is fairly hot.

Agreed. For a character who will spend half her time on air in the nude, better to have an attractive girl than an ugly one!

But they cast an uglier Catelyn than the last actress. The current one looks even older than Sean Bean

The new Catelyn is disappointing agreed, but for Catelyn atleast you kind of expect her to be a bit haggered after all that happens (her suffering etc). If they can atleast get her to look good (younger) for the 1st episode, that will be enough.

She does look a little old ... but as you said, will play the run down very well, and should be a terrific actress.

Love what Ive seen so far (though not all that keen on the Raven teaser preview).

Its a good thing they didn't ugly up Tyrion IMO.

But I really love Dany, looks stunning. I'm so glad the previous actress was replaced!

HBO's started talks with Ireland about Season 2 filming and all that jazz ... A good sign.

I wish they would set a date already for the show. They only said in April time but theres a difference between early and late april. Hopefully it will receive the same acclaim as Boardwalk Empire and Walking Dead as the best new shows. I think it will

Considering Big Love ends March 20th ... my expectation is the first sunday in April will mark the launch of Game of Thrones.

I think GRRM was going to announce completion of A Dance with Dragons yesterday at the panel but because he's been sick since Christmas, had to delay it. I suspect it will come out in April for cross promotion purposes. Hopefully.

Heard today that the premier will actually be both the first and second episode ... two hours of Thrones.

I read somewhere HBO will release the first episode early.

Ahhhhh 15 minute preview was all kinds of awesome.

It is and it flies by too. I really cant wait for the first episode!!

I wont be able to wait till later this year when its shown here, Im going to have to see these as they are released but i'll buy the dvd once it is released.
