I think Kate is the candidate, not Jack. That'll end up as MiB's downfall - being long conned into believing Kate isn't a candidate. She's on the lighthouse list...

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
The best way to end lost would be by killing Kate in the worst death possible, like Flocke tearing her leg and making her bleed out.
Since nearly every Lost fan hates her, that would make all of us happy.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
This was a terrific episode. Best of the season so far and the first one this season I'd put up with Lost's all-time best. Killing off four characters within a few minutes was brutal and unexpected. Sun/Jin dying was very moving (though somewhat illogical as far as not mentioning the daughter at all)...but I think Lapidus' sudden demise was the more shocking one to me (assuming he is actually dead).
And no way in hell Kate's a candidate. That'd piss me off.

I'd venture Sayid and Frank aren't dead. The rule of tv is if you don't see the character dead, they almost never are.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
Frank, yes I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back (his last scene was too anticlimactic and he hasn't done anything this season), but Sayid? Eh... it'd be stupid to bring him back, really. Michael's death wasn't shown on screen, and he's really dead, so I'd assume (and hope) the same was implied with Sayid. He'd have no purpose anyway.

Who will also die in the current timeline?
My money's on Sawyer, Richard, Ben and Charles.

My money's on Sawyer, Richard, Ben and Charles. I would agree, that would leave Kate getting to take Claire home. Then Jack would be the protector of the island. I'm not sure about Hurley yet.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
In the island timeline, I'm not sure anyone is going to live. It doesn't look like any help is coming or there's any way to leave. On the other hand, it's hard to see them killing some of them, like Jack, Claire and Hurley especially.
I'd guess the most likely to die soonest are Miles, Richard, Zoe, Sawyer and Charles.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
I think Desmond's gonna live. And I really can't see them killing off Hurley. That seems even less likely than Jack or Kate dying.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
I think the only ones who will live are Claire, Hurley, Jack and (sadly) Kate.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
I had an epiphany last night. I'm pretty sure the bomb on the plane wasn't Widmore's. He needs people on that list. He knows they are the key and wouldn't kill them until he knows that the Lockeness Monster is dead. I'm pretty sure that the bomb was Richard, Ben and Miles bomb. They were going to blow up the plane and not go with Jack to meet up with Locke.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
So after the season finale, the Jimmy Kimmel show will be featuring most of the cast, and three alternative endings. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=65823Collecting myself, I can't help but wonder if these will be 'joke' endings.
