Yay! Thursday's episode was maybe the best so far.

Yep, this was one of the reasons why.

Naked pool game was hilarious. But up until that point I was kinda meh on the episode.

This was probably one of the funniest episodes. I was dying when Abed was flirting.

This week's episode started off weak, but white abed, the pool game and the Calvin and Hobbes bit at the end were its saving graces.

I love the little touches in this show, like Werewolves of London playing over the pool game. I've lost count of the number of times where they've basically mimicked or paid homage to films and TV shows of the 80s in subtle ways. It's very much a sitcom geared towards 20-30 year-old geeks.

Last night's episode was brilliant again. This show parodies movies and genre cliches better than any sitcom ever has.

They're taking that too far. It has basically become a complete sketch show devoted to parodying. I haven't enjoyed the last two episodes at all.

What? I like some character development.

I haven't liked the last few episodes much either and the last one was close to unwatchable. I'd be hopeful that it would correct itself if it wasn't for all the praise it's getting, making me think it's just evolving in a direction I don't like but others do.

It might be getting praise, but it's also getting its lowest numbers in the ratings! NBC needs ratings, not praise currently. Praise doesn't pay checks. Last two episodes are comfortably the lowest rated ones yet, one of them even dipped under 4 million viewers.

That's sad, I loved the last one! The paintball one next week looks like fun.

The Chicken one and this paintball were the funniest things on TV in a LONNNNNG time. Best episodes by far. and funniest show on tv.

The paintball episode was brilliant, maybe the best one so far. And the fact that they keep managing to find ways to put Joel McHale in as little clothing as possible is OK in my book.

Hasn't that always been the point of the show? From the very start the show's mission statement always seemed to be to skewer standard sitcom tropes and any other genre cliché they felt like.

The Paintball episode might just have become my favourite episode of any sitcom of all time. It's a tough call between it, the 'Gay! A Gay Musical' ep of The I.T. Crowd and that episode of Malcolm in the Middle where Hal tries bonding with Reese by watching horror films.

I liked the final episode, just because they went to the original feel of the show - somewhat realistic comedy with a lot of references and only minor spoofs as opposed to a whole episode devoted to one big spoof. Hopefully they come better next season. Though TBBT will bury it in the ratings.

I loved it. But only because I love Annie.

Whose ready for new Community? I've seen way to much of the premier, I couldn't help it.

From people that have seen the first episode, it's supposed to be fantastic.

Through two episodes, this season has been AWESOME. Not sure there have been consecutive minutes where I'm not laughing. It's fabulous.
