Hmm, well, it had 278,000 admissions last weekend and now stands at 9,643,983 admissions. Still thinking that it'll pass 10 million only barely?

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread: Avatar passed 9.5m admissions
Looks like AVATAR survived the ALICE onslaught pretty good...
12th weekend could be around 175,000 admissions (-37 %) while ALICE looks like 550,000 (biggest opening of 2010)...

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread: Avatar passed 9.5m admissions
After yesterday's blizzard it is extremely difficult to get a handle on how ALICE will perform on Sunday...
ALICE's opening weekend could be anywhere between 525,000-650,000 admissions... SHUTTER ISLAND should drop around 34 % to 225,000 while AVATAR is a monster, dropping 28 % to about 200,000 admissions... New total for AVATAR should be 9,925,000 Sunday Night...

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread: Avatar passed 9.5m admissions
Estimated weekend admissions:
1. Alice in Wonderland - 550,000 2. Shutter Island - 235,000 3. Avatar - 205,000 (-26.3%) 4. The Men Who Stare at Goats - 170,000
Avatar is #13 of all-time (since 1968) admissions-wise with around 9,930,000 admissions already. Top 10 will take a while (it'll need 10.7 million admissions to get there). I expect it at around 10.15 million by the end of the next weekend.
