What?? You mean Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy??? I mean hell, I suppose anything is possible, but those sort of movies acquire a certain kind of taste, sort of like the Monty Python movies and they have there small following that the general moviegoer in the end won't give a fuck about.. Amityville Horror ALL THE WAY.. =D>

The Amityville Horror is gonna be a Big Horror movie and the BEST of 2005.. Once we see this movie, you'll forget all about The RING and The GRUDGE and every other PG-13 Horror movie.. Can you imagine what a PG-13 Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake would've been like?? When the subject of Haunted Houses is brought up, Amityville is one of the Greats no matter what your belief is in it via Hoax or Something Sinister and Supernatural, it rules.. =D>

Don't count on it.. Horror fans, TRUE Horror fans and folks in general bitch about studios hacking R-Rated Horror movies and watering them down for PG-13 in an effort to make more on DVD in a Director's Cut R-Rated Edition and studios will tell you that PG-13 Horror puts more butts in the seats and makes more than a Restricted R-Rated movie would, but The Amityville Horror will be the Godsend, the answer to all the brouhaha over whether an R-Rated Horror movie can open up big or not and this one is gonna be BIG.. No one will OWN me on this... The screening reviews for this so far have very positive complete right down to ther total Grimness and Dread in the movie and that's awesome.. The RING II will be OWNED By The R-Rated Amityville Horror.. Bet me..

Well you sleep on it and think about it.. In the meantime, while your doing that, keep in mind you will be OWNED.. R-Rated Horror beats PG-13 Horror any day of the week.. =D> Teens not old enough to see an R-Rated movie will have someone older to buy them the tickets and get in that way.. No usher will even give it a second thought.. 50 Days and Counting!! =D>

The Ring Two will win by A LOT that is all I got to say. BKB, no offense, but you are way overpredicting this film. The Ring Two has a lot more buzz, the original had great legs, and did wonderfully at the box office, and it practically has a built in audience for it. This is how I see it going. The Amityville Horror is going to be successful, no doubt about that, but not nearly as big as The Ring 2.

Your dead damn WRONG and once again, all this bullshit about PG-13 Horror being able to make more than a well done, skillfully crafted Horror Legend like The Amityville Horror at an R-Rating will be put to rest ONCE AND FOR ALL THE WEEKEND OF APRIL 15TH.. Once again, people are sick of these pansy ass, non-scary films like The RING(That's right, it's a PG-13 Pussy Horror movie made the Family Friendly Horror Fare way that won't hold a candle to a down and out, gritty Horror movie like the Amityville Horror Remake and I'll challenge anyone to this and prove them wrong).. I'll even go 1 step farther and say this movie silences the studios who insist on this PG-13 Bullshit and they go BACK to R-Rated Horror after The Amityville Horror whips the kingdom Fuck out of the overrated RING II and shocks the shit out of folks in doing so.. I mean what makes the RING so damn scary to you teens out there?? If that film makes you scared, then you haven't seen many horror movies cause it looks like a bunch of watered down bullshit like The GRUDGE did.. What a waste... If your so certain The RING II will be THE AMITYVILLE HORROR Pink, then jump in on this bet, but you will lose..

Above are 3 links to a 3 page article recently written on The Amityville Horror and whether or not it was in fact true.. On Page 3 at the bottom, the investigator has new proof that it was in fact true and you'll see that on the bottom of page 3..

BKB, I'm definently in on this bet. If The Amityville Horror makes $50 million opening weekend, I will do what you asked, which is to post at Rotten Tomatoes for one week, any thread or post you wanted posted. BUT, if The Amityville Horrror fails to reach $50 million on opening weekend, you have to not only change your signature to "I got PWNED by a stupid teenager over predicting a stupid PG-13 teen horror movie. The Ring Two owns!". This must be in regular (12 pt) font, and bold writing. AND, if if makes under $50 million, you have to stop writing in bold font for a week. Just regular writing like the rest of us. One week. Why did I add this? For one, I don't want our bet to be the exact same as everyone. And, since I'm willing to sacrifice my week to post things for you in other places, this seems to be fair that you actually match my side by doing something other than putting something in your signature.
If you're willing to accept, then game on.

Why do you think an R-Rated Horror Legend and Remake like The Amityville Horror can't open up as much as a PG-13 RING II?? Why??? Explain this and don't give me this shit about teens not being able to purchase a ticket to this movie cause of the R-Rating.. If they really want to see Amityville bad enough, they'll have someone purchase tickets for them or the box office will sell them tickets and not card them like most theatres do nowadays.. I think your HEAVILY underestimating Amityville Horror's weekend box office greatly.. It's the true Horror movie that will wipe out PG-13 Horror and you know it.. 50 Million 3 day weekend total for Amityville Horror and the shock on everyones face when it pulls it off will be *PRICELESS*.. =D>

The Ring 2, whether good or not, needed or not, will easily outgross Amityville Horror.
If it don't, my signature shall read "I'm bkb's bitch"

You are such a weird little man, BKB. You praise Alien vs. Predator when it was PG-13, yet slam The Ring TwO for having the same rating. The Ring TwO is PG-13. That means far more people will be able to see it when compared to The Amityville Horror, which is rated R. That cuts a few million off that it could have made if PG-13.
And I am so bookmarking this topic.
