I'm happy Elizabeth Mitchel's back, and also the next season looks like it's gonna be more confusing that ever...

I want Shannon to return. She got the shaft from the producers.

Well I read somewhere that she and Boone will both appear in the final season.

Boone and Shannon always seemed to have that "first to die" target on their backs from the beginning.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
She was being set up for more. She was hearing the whispers and seeing whatshisname. "I'll <3 u forevah, Shannon." BOOM. I've read that mid-way season two the producers or showrunners, whoev, decided to take Lost in a different direction than it was going, and I think that included Shannon.

That Eko episode with the dead girl who came back to life, I always thought it was a weird loose end they never revisited. It's funny that the girl was a redhead named Charlotte, but neither the girl's age nor her nationality matched up with the Freighties Charlotte. I had to lostpedia her to make sure though

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
According to an interview, Ian Somerhalder will be back as Boone for three episodes.
Katey Sagal who played Helen (Locke's squeeze) is coming back.
Also, Arzt is back! (the one who exploded)
Nestor Carbonell for the first time becomes the series regular (appearing in almost all of the final season's episodes).
Alice Evans (young Eloise Hawking) will have a recurring role.

Some shoirt, but VERY interesting snippets (spoiler-y, but no biggies): - Sun insists they bury someone properly - Frank makes a comment about the "weirdest funeral ever" - Ben makes a touching speech - Sawyer is drunk when he reunites with a familar face - Someone reveals that they know a lot more about the island than Ben. - We find out that Jacob has a child. Have a guess who you think it is. - An old friend crosses paths with someone unexpected off island - Episode 6.04 we learn of a connection between The Smoke Monster and MIB - Fake Locke gets an old friend to join his army - Ben lies to Illana about what happened inside the temple - Jacob is dead and his ashes are collected by someone whose name has 5 letters - Someone tries to persuade Sun to visit the temple claiming that Jin is there. - Frank wants to try and see if his plane on the other island will still work The one about Jacob is VERY interesting...

Something I heard about the Jacob one... (major spoiler if true) Illana is Jacob's daughter.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
since this is a lost thread I'm not using spoilers Quote: Not too long ago, we told you about the creator of Desperate Housewives, Marc Cherry's plan to have a plane crash into Wisteria Lane.
Now, get ready for a big twist: the aforementioned plane will be coming from Lost's Oceanic Airlines!!!
Before you start jotting down new Lost theories, let us clarify that this plane won't be carrying any of the Lost characters. They're staying put on their own island program. But the branding crossover of Oceanic Airlines is meant to be a little hidden treasure for Lost fans.
Though the deal hasn't been finalized yet, insiders at the studio say the ABC execs are really looking forward to making it happen.

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6
Some good news on Juliet
"Elizabeth Mitchell, who stars in ABC's November 3 reboot of 1980's miniseries "V," and "Lost" producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse talked to Entertainment Weekly about the fate of Juliet. The interview is one big spoiler if you're not caught up on the show, but there is some good news for Juliet fans as well. Lindelof and Cuse confirmed that Mitchell is scheduled to appear in multiple episodes the final season.
"There's still something very significant that we have not yet learned about the character," hints Cuse.
Lindelof added that "Juliet basically birthed season 6 by the actions that she takes in the final seconds of season 5. She is completely responsible for the end game of the show. So the character is going to be seen in a slightly different light this year. We gave her that action for a reason, and that's because she's so important to the fabric of the story."

Re: The "Lost" Thread: Season 6 - Great new promo pics
After watching most of the series again, I've put together a list of the saddest moments on Lost: 12. Miles seeing his father and himself as a baby in Some Like it Hoth - Kind of a small scene, but it's one of the very neat dramatic scenes that can come out of the time travel storyline. Miles finally realizes his father did love him, and then with his later realization in The Incident, he knew his father had to force Miles and his mother to leave the island. 11. Charlotte's death - On the same day Faraday tells her he loves her, she dies from all of the flashing. I just realized the other days the last line she says to him ("I'm not allowed to have chocolate before dinner"), is also the very first thing she's ever said to him. 10. Charlie's almost death in All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues - Such a raw, unnerving scene with Charlie hanging by his neck from the tree and then Jack relentlessly pounding on Charlie's chest...it was such a cliche fake death, but still so sad and then relieving when he starts breathing 9. Sawyer watching Kate help Claire give birth - He was just so shocked to see the girl he had to leave be only 20 feet in front of him, but he also knew he couldn't do anything about it. 8. Micheal shooting Libby and Anna Lucia - probably one of the most shocking scenes of Lost ever for me... 7. Ben getting Alex killed by Keamy - I really did not think Alex was going to die after the killing of her boyfriend and Rosseau, so I was just as shocked as Ben was after Keamy shot her. It was totally Ben's fault of course, but her death brings Ben from his badly planned, "She means nothing to me" speech to actually feeling responsible and caring about someone. 6. The boat explosion in There's No Place Like Home - Jin running out from down below the ship, to Sun's screaming once the boat blows up. 5. Hurley telling Claire that Charlie's dead - Probably the two closest friends Charlie ever had share such a sad moment in the jungle... 4. Desmond & Penny's call in The Constant - It was their love that saved Desmond from dying of a brain aneurysm. The fact that this was the first time they had got to speak in years was so sad. 3. Kate giving up Aaron to his grandmother in What Happened, Happened - Personally, I thought this scene was so brilliantly shot and then added with the amazingly sad theme, it was a heart-wrenching moment as Kate said goodbye to a sleeping Aaron. "There's No Place Like Home" is definitely Lost's best theme of the show, be sure to get it on iTunes. 2. Charlie's real death in Through the Looking Glass - From his final realization that this is what he had to do to watching him float lifelessly through the water, it was hard not to shed a tear. 1. Juliet and Sawyer at the end of The Incident - Easily the saddest scene ever in Lost for me. You know immediately what's going to happen when Juliet starts getting pulled by those chains. But it's Josh Holloway and Elizabeth Mitchell's amazing performance that makes the scene. With Sawyer yelling, "Don't you let go!!" and Juliet's crying out of desperation, you can really see how much they love each other. Personally, their relationship was my favorite on Lost, even beating out Desmond and Penny.
