Really? Your unhappy with me bumping my existing thread from 2005, rather than starting a new poll to clutter up the forums? With the old thread search broken, it took me 20 minutes to manually comb through Cinemania to dig up my old thread for what I imagined was a service to the KJ community. I think most KJers would be hard pressed to remember my infrequent polls, let alone be overwhelmed by them - - perhaps the most known one would be my thread/poll: Your Pixar Rankings!!!, which like my Rank the Star Trek Movies thread, I only bump upon a new entry in the series...

Some of those polls are fine. I'll use the same excuse that me and Nebs used last summer stating that its summer time so expect to see alot of fanbase related threads. We had to go through alot of TDK, Kong and SWs threads in the past so it shouldnt be any exception. Maybe if the threads are too similiar or doesnt add the discussion other than spam, I would consider it

Actually I don't think is a problem as Star Trek is the BIG MOVIE OF THE WEEK.

and also I just checked there are only 2 open Star Trek threads on the front page but there are 20 out of 30 threads, that were either started or bumped up by 1 person. Some of which were 3/4 months ago. Does he have a Star Trek grudge???

For some reason the ADM doesn't see that this is a totally different question. Batman Begins is the first movie in the franchase.

The Dark Knight was the second movie of the Batman series - and everyone saw it as the movie of the year > no one saw Batman Begins as the movie of the year.

1 thread is a specific question that asks how Star Trek compares with Batman as a re-start to each franchise. The other is a totally different question that asks in 2009, is Star Trek the movie of the year

Why do we even have a critics forum, if you meant to take away space from those. Im still sticking with my answer that you have tried to compare it again to Batman Begins wheter you restated your question again or not. Now just end this discussion right now because I still see you are unwilling to change your behavior or habit of creating so many polls. Im beginning to rethink the process of limiting your thread creation again since it was reinstated back to you recently. Also can I have the def of spam - as I know there are about 30 Dr. Lecter ( note Dr Lecter started this thread) threads on the first 2 pages of the Movie section - and about half of them get about 0-4 respones or not alot of interest.

Since there doesn't seem to be lots of interest in so many of his threads but they remain open, can someone look at this!

Because the threads that Lecter created were about movie news. Joe use to create alot of those threads but since he doesnt post here anymore, Lecter has to provide them. As much as Joe was disliked he never got any complaints for posting movie news. I have given you advice that you have to find a way to consolidate threads that are so similiar to one another yet you have refused to.
