Stock Market Discussion
Am I the only who buys and sells daily? Discuss here. I just recently got back involved.
CAT has been a nice pick up, but my babies been IO; cheap little stock is up over 100%.

Not daily anymore, used to at times.
But really pissed I missed when Citi dropped to a 1.00 based on bad news and timing - which I was even watching - and then it went up to 3/4 within a week or two.

Re: Stock Market Discussion
I'm no expert and just gambling honestly but I got in around March 9 when the market was at it's lowest in ages where there were ultra bargains around. Problem with me is that I only have a few thousand to play with whereas you need at least 25k to do dang day trades. When I trade I have to wait 3 days for my thing to settle before I can make another move.
Anyway, I've dabbled in C, BAC, and F. I got burned by BAC over the weekend but that's okay. I'll just start again and I'll get back what I lost eventually, but when you start playing in the market you end up watching it pretty much all day. I have my scottrade realtime quotes running right when I log on so I can see all the movement. It's exciting and interesting and a good opportunity right now, I think.

Re: Stock Market Discussion
Well to be honest it works for both though the 1990s were helped by the technology boom; both times the people who bought heavily in the end for the most part saw absurd profits.

Re: Stock Market Discussion
i have some money in the market, most of it is set up in long term stocks though. I don't really focus on the day to day. Got too much going on in my life.

I know its been ages, but this is the only related topic I could find. Anyone interested in this space? What are your go to resources that you like to use for research?
I usually do WSJ and Bloomberg. CNBC sometimes but not a fan of Jim Cramer.

I have never followed stocks. But I've heard it's a good place for young guys like me to invest in.

Re: Stock Market Discussion
So DreamWorks got a buyout offer from Softbank, which would potentially make it the second studio to be owned by a Japanese company after Sony. Could DreamWorks end up doing Manga Comic animation??
Thoughts on this business news?
