Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Wow, that was a pretty intense fight scene. I was actually surprised Riley is capable of beating the shit out of Jessie (albeit briefly). Poor Riley. She hardly showed up (while being a series regular) but when it seemed like her character was getting somewhere, she gets offed. I'll miss her lesbian-tinged scenes with Jessie.

And Busy Phillips finally reappears. But... still pregnant? She gave birth in real-life already The rest of the back nine episodes look really promising. Too bad this won't see Season 3.

I really hope FOX at least keeps it going for the rest of the season. 3.00 million for Friday isn't promising, to say the least. They can probably ride the DVR thing for the rest of the season. But barring some unbelievable, unforeseen late-season ratings surge, it's not looking good. Of all the shows this season that I have lost/may lose (Pushing Daisies; Prison Break; Chuck; Dollhouse), this will be the biggest loss for me. I've been kind of completely hooked since the early part of Season 2 now.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
DVR News (with Dollhouse comparisons in parentheses)
Week 1 (2/13) Initial Viewers: 3.237 million (Dollhouse: 4.204 million) Initial + DVR: 4.758 million (Dollhouse: 5.799 million) DVR Jump: 31.9% (Dollhouse: 27.5%)
Week 2 (2/20) Initial Viewers: 3.376 million (Dollhouse: 3.787 million) Initial + DVR: 4.851 million (Dollhouse: 5.245 million) DVR Jump: 30.4% (Dollhouse: 27.8%)
I know they're not great, but any improvement is good.

Let it go X its dead, so is Dollhouse which I'm actually pleased about since the show is a complete waste.
Lets just hope we get a great finale.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
It was so sad last year when they picked it up for a 2nd season. I was so happy that the movie might actually help the show. I even figured that FOX would save the trailed unveiling for an episode of the show to boost ratings.
Then someone politely informed me that FOX probably wouldn't air ads on their network for a WB movie. How heartbreaking.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I enjoyed the last two episodes, other than them killing Riley and leaving the obnoxious Jesse. It makes sense dramatically, but not in terms of casting or trying to maintain viewership. I just don't like the actress who plays Jesse, and Riley was sort of cute (Mr X is going: Sort of??)
Next week's episode looks good.
I expect this series to get a third season. With Terminator Salvation so close, how can they cancel it and be left wondering whether it would have taken off in the fall on the coat tails of the movie? Of course Salvation might not be a hit but they have to make a decision before that comes out and for now it's generally assumed it will be.

I still really like the show. I don't know, maybe I'm easier to please nowadays. I agree though about Jessie. The actress seems to play the role like she's Angelina Jolie, complete with pouty lips.

The show wouldn't be close to cancellation if so many episodes weren't flat-out awful. The peaks keep me coming back (Summer Glau, the John Henry story), but the show only has itself to blame for hemorrhaging from 18 million viewers down to 3 million.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Tonight's episode was easily the best of the season and maybe the topper of the entire series. I thought it was excellent.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
The best episode in a long time. But it doesn't mean much. Though I hope they won't blew up the interesting things they've set up in this episode. TSCC writers are probably the worst bunch currently working. They come up with good ideas but they manage to destroy all of them by awful writing.

So many questions being thrown up that no way they will be giving us any sort of series finale. This is going to finish with a ragged end.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Cameron seemed useless in the incident with the van on the road. A real teenage girl with a gun wouldn't have been any less effective.
Still pretty fun overall though.

The scene with John Henry and Savannah, I thought for a second we were seeing the return of Cromartie.
