I have a feeling this could derail Gyllenhaal's career.

Or it could bring him stardom, like Depp with Pirates.

Re: Gyllenhaal as Prince of Persia
He looks pretty much exactly how he should look in this role, doesn't he?
These are bad photos, thought. The first picture from last year was better.

But since we know Jake Gyllenhall, it really makes it clear it's a white dude playing an Arab. Loyal said he looks Iranian enough, and if this was his first big role I could buy that. Instead, it's just another example of Hollywood's long, shameful history of making a minority out of a whitey.

Are gay people really this shallow?
I can't remember the last time a straight guy said "Catherine Zeta-Jones is hot, I'm so there for Entrapment!"

Sean Penn is not gay. he played a gay guy. latinos play white people. black americans play carribeans and other africans, brown people even sometimes play latino characters ... christians play jews, jews play Muslims, Muslims play other people killing muslims ... why is everyone so overly concerned over persians all of a sudden. Iranians look white. White people can be made to look iranian. Prince of Persia in the game last i checked did not speak with an persian accent .. no one complained. like i said, go looka t screenshots of the prince from the game ... Jake isn't really that far off ..

How else do you think Megan Fox got a career? Jake is not hot, though. We just pity-love him because he went gay in Brokeback. Well, I don't pity-love him, but other gays do. Like Mike

Although, between her and Shia, I think most gays will opt for those mechanical creatures.
