Korrgan for at least two weeks for her continuing attacks on others, even after quite a few warnings. Zep for a week for his actions in the recent Box's thread in Water Cooler, and for a certain avatar. Jeff gets a public warning for the same avatar and couple of his posts directed at others.

Do not post messages from banned members.

Requesting IP ban on Zep. He's taking pictures from this site and posting and exploiting them elsewhere (filmgasm) without permission. Look I don't mind having my pictures up on this site but when people are taking them like that and posting them in other places, I'm NOT ok with it, and it's clear this guy has no conscience over internet privacy issues like that. I think that's grounds to cut his ability to view the site period.

Also when you post a privately sent nude picture of someone + say you hope a member should slit their own throat, plus the blatent trolling, I don't think that's a member we want back here ever.

I'm not sure who Zep is or who even invited him(?) to WoKJ but I haven't seen a single worthwhile post from this person ever.

Out of curiosity...what was about that certain avatar?

While i will say that
- To do such a thing is terribly pathetic
- Shows a level of immaturity that well ... i don't really think i need to quantify it
- should be banned longer than a week for various other reasons

posting your picture publicly on a website at the end of the day becomes your responsibility. at this point, you're only aware one person did this but for all you know, there are probably more people here who have engaged in a similar manner. i do not condone the behavior at all, i personally believe it shows a level of retardedness and a need from someone to be more socially accepted but at the end of the day, YOU must be careful and you must know what content you release publicly out to people.

I was aware, and asked beforehand. This is the internet. When it comes to me, now, it's basically nothing. What I mean is people take it way too serious on all accounts. Not saying the admins/mods are out of place, they should do what they think is best. Not going to judge those decisions. But I'm 100% aware of whatver I post can and likely will be used at some point by other parties. I wouldn't post or say something anywhere if I didn't realize this. I'm not an idiot who freaks out if say a picture ends up being used without my permission somewhere. I don't go, "oh my! How did this happen!?" I'm always aware of it. If I posted it somewhere, send someone something, it's totally my responsibility. As far as I know, I've always been asked beforehand if someone can do something regarding me. Pictures, something I may have said, etc. And I usually don't have a problem with it because if I would, I wouldn't have done or said whatever was being asked of me in the first place. Zach (Zep) is a good friend. He wouldn't do something he thought would bother me. He didn't have to ask me if he could post any picture, but he did. He likes to goof off, yes, and when on the internet why not really? It's the perfect fantasy land. You get to wish death of people (heh, shack, what's the difference between saying someone should slit their throat or whatever and saying that someone wished with all their heart someone here would die? Yes, none, but apparently you want that person to come back while you want someone saying something regarding a throat slitting comment to be IP banned?) , behave however you want, blah, etc. It's not a second life at all. Whatever happens on a screen shouldn't cause any harm to what happens in your real life, if it does, you really should consider thinking what the internet is.

Hopefully that helps clears up part of the Picture Issue.


Won't comment on anything else, but I must say it is a little funny all the warnings/bannings were issued on people who you could say ganged up a bit on Chip last night. Whenever someone like myself is ganged up on, absolutely nothing is ever done. Was it because I never complained? If so, sorry I was never someone who complained when I was being picked on. It's the internet people, grow up.

Nowhere in neb's post has he pointed to your picture being the reason for the banning. i think hes openly stated what the reasons were. the fact that you point out parrelels to people ganging up on you and ganging up on chip had absolutely nothing to do with this, as far as what nebs, once again, posted.

- he had an avatar calling someone austistic and a cunt, and users have been warned in the past not to reference anyone in their sigs and avatars without approval from the party
- his posts in 2 threads (nebs points at one) go beyond stating a dislike for someone .... they take it to a completely different level, and it was focussed on more than just chip
- nebs may not have said this in the post itself but there was the matter of that completely inappropriate and stigamitism enducing signature.

all this, as loyal had posted, contributes to nothing and poitns towards trollish and spammish behavior. while posting a picture of you nude goes against the rules here, it would probably be taken off and given a warning at best.

i'm not sspeaking for the mod/admin team but judging by what they say and what they do, i'm quite sure i'm in line with their feelings and thoughts on this matter.

I don't think Zep is on enough or knew that about the rule. In fact, I'm 100% positive he didn't because as long as the other party doesn't have a problem with it it's allowed on various other forums. Yes, KJ is KJ, not calling the rule wrong, just stating a warning was probably best when it came to the avi/sig, and asking him to take it down first maybe?

Yeah, some of his posts were "harsh" by KJ standards, but again, similar (maybe not as blunt) posts about others are made fairly often here and little is ever done it seems, a warning or two maybe, but not a direct ban as far as I know.

Not saying the ban was right or wrong, not going to judge decisions made here anymore, but I'm willing to bet zero discussion was made between the parties involved before the decision to warn/ban people was decided.

The picture he posted wasn't a nude picture, if it was considred a nude picture, over 50% of pictures posted in threads like the Not So Good Gentlemen (whatever it's called) or Lecter's (I think he made the thread) thread of celebs posing in that one photoshoot of somebody (Marilyn Monroe? Don't remember) are nudes too.



Why even a warning here?

The post I made above was refering to the comments made by Nebs about not posting pictures without permission in the Cooler (which Zep did ask beforehand, but I guess people assumed he did not?), again, probably a good idea to talk about things before reacting. And towards Shack calling for an IP ban over the Juju should slit her throat or whatever was posted. Harsh? Of course, but it's no different than wishing death on someone is it? That wasn't made public, but I decided to make it public because the end of that letter was very much a case of cyber bullying which I will report and not tolerate against anyone if Im aware of it. But I guess nothing is wrong with that? Dunno, alot of vague decisions or responses lately instead of exact reasons it seems.
