"Canada. Let's move to Canada."
Nice, Cameron. Haha.
I just read Busy Phillips gave birth not too long ago. Does that mean... that's her real belly on the show????
The 'hunter' and 'hunted' episodes are always really good. More!

The 'hunter' and 'hunted' episodes are always really good. More! Busy Phillips was easily ten months overdue.
Summer gets hotter every episode.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Per the Canceled/renewal thread, the show is moving to Fridays starting Friday, February 13 to air in front of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Not exactly good news. A move to Friday is never good news.

I watched it and liked it better than other episodes I've seen this season. I liked John getting away from his mother and going to Mexico. It wasn't thrilling but it was something different and a step in the right direction.

Why do genre shows like Terminator struggle on TV when the upcoming movie will probably make 200M or more?

They have Terminator on opposite Big Bang Theory and Chuck, and all 3 are going for the geek audience. It's ridiculous scheduling.

Their current plan of pairing it with Whedon's Dollhouse on Fridays starting in February doesn't seem like a good thing for either show. Whedon's shows always get the shaft from Fox. In fact, that could be extended to Whedon and anyone who stars in his shows (Summer Glau, Nathan Fillion). I really liked Nathan Fillion's short-lived show "Drive." Very interesting.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Ideally I'd like it paired with House but that won't happen. More realistically, put it on 8 eastern Thursday nights, it would be good counter programming against Ugly Betty, Survivor and Earl.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I actually thought this was one of the best episodes the show has put out so far in its short, 17 episode lifespan. Season 1, even though this is where I started to like the show, was uneven and sometimes lifeless. This season, the show is tighter ("That's tight.") and well-written. This latest episode was actually the first time where I felt like TSCC was a legitimately great sci-fi/action series. It deserves success, and it unfortunately won't find it on Friday nights unless FOX promotes the fuck out of it. And even then...

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
The last episode sucked. The plot was ridiculous and all of the characters are starting to get really bad. John is a prick, Sarah is bland, Summer seems purposeless, Tyler is disposable. etc. The addition of Manson and her company didn't add much to the story as it seemed would be the case at first.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I'm pretty much in the minority I guess. Every opinion I've read said this episode sucked. I guess I just like the connected storylines (Crash lover here). Although I thought Derek's Story near the end (when he's with Cameron) was pretty unnecessary. And it got ridiculous when we started getting Cromartie's Story and Ellison's Story.

And they got rid of Cromartie that easily (shoot the bastard with a shotgun in the head - geee, why no one ever thought of that before?)?!?! After he was hunting them for one and a half season? I mean, they should've just hunted him from the start.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Pretty good episode this week. The 1920s parts were short and sweet, thankfully. If they were long, drawn-out scenes, they likely would've bored me to tears. And any Cameron episode is a good episode.
So, the show got 5.83 million viewers this week. Nice jump thanks to the lack of DWTS. It'd be ncie to see it hit the 6 million mark next week, but I suppose that's wishful thinking. Not much we can do until it returns in February in the dreaded Friday night slot.
It's really too bad Terminator never got the opportunity to build with a strong lead-in. It has been paired with Prison Break since it started, and I love PB but it only has a following, a following which has dwindled each year. With Fringe and Bones getting their share of the post-House/post-Idol timeslots (or pre-Idol, in Bones' case the last few years), it would've been nice to see Terminator get at least a few episodes in after House or Idol to see if it could've stuck. Oh well.

Good episode. The daughter of the family was a hoot! What was the actor's name (the daughter)? Dad: "What were you doing on my computer?" Daughter: "Looking at lesbian porn. What's the difference?" Dad: You're gay?" Daughter: "No. God people. Thanks for knowing me."

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Samantha Krutzfeldt. I was surprised to learn she hasn't done much of anything. She looked familiar too.
Anyway yes, good episode. Really good. They seem to be finding their footing on the show. The first season, in retrospect, seems particularily uneven. I really, really hope they find some sort of audience on Fridays that will please FOX. I think their only hope is that people check out Dollhouse. History is pointing it to the cancellation door, but there are plenty of examples of something unexpected happening when it comes to TV and ratings. And really, how long can FOX go on with awful numbers on Fridays?

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I was catching up on the last three episodes. I have to say they were OK, but Mr. J-X, personally I think that all the episodes of the second season were much more uneven for themselves than aynthing in first season.
Also the show is taking the Heroes route, where the whole story seems more preposterous and stupid with each new episode, as it seems like machines are making it way to easy for humans to fight them, even if like 99.9999999999% humans aren't even aware of everything.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I might still be in the minority here, but I really like this season. I'm not saying it's the most well-written show, but I'm digging the episodes quite a bit. The writers are obviously trying to avoid "Terminator of the week" episodes, but at the same time, are writing for an audience that may tune in out of curiousity and they won't feel left out.
I haven't watched that clip yet. But I am pretty excited for the rest of the season.

The last episode made me want to rip my eyeballs out. 6 episodes left and they still fanny around with Sarah's insecurities!
