Yeah, even if all the details are unknown concerning the situation, it's best to assume what is being said is true in these matters. So, Joe's comment in the thread was uncalled for. Joe has made alot of effort into improving over his uncalled for outbursts of sorts like today, so I am a little upset over it. But he has, and will improve if he decides to return, and I'm confident he will.
It's difficult though, to.... determine what a baiting response is, however. It can be something no one else sees as baiting at times, to the most obvious of baiting. And it's different for each person. So it's even more difficult to sort of set a rule on baiting. Obviously few understand how to mind their business, and things that concern them directly, and not worry about every other matter, so problems will keep coming up, almost daily. So it's probably the best decision to treat each individual case just as that. An individual case concerning the posters directly involved, no third party of any kind. The third party may not always be satisfied with this, but it's the best way to contain the issue. The more people involved, the more issues that will soon be presented. Especially on a forum where many posters have their cliques and everything, which is perfectly okay, but you also have to take all the above into consideration. For such a small forum, there's alot to take into consideration isn't there?
Small forums probably present the most work in this area really.
So yeah, the ban seems justified and warrented. I don't think any more than a week though, far more gang attacks and personal attacks have gone by with not even warnings, so this isn't much. But it's nice to see more focus being put on this matter which relates to the bigger picture of most problem related issues on smaller forums.
