Another really entertaining episode. The show is actually realizing its potential, which is awesome.

Cameron/John stuff = interesting. Sarah stuff = boring.
I still think this is a show with a great cast but a really shitty writing team. Think about all the Cameron backstory here: what did we really learn? That she was copied from a human? We learned next to nothing about who Alison really was.

I was bored. Cameron/Allison was interesting now and then, but overall such a bore of an episode.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
so Cameron, 2 glitches this season alone. Think they should get rid of her.
and she just came out of it. doesn't seem possible that it would have just corrected itself.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Season 1 was a bit all over the place. Season 2 has been tighter (as Cameron may call it) all around so far. The last episode was the best so far.
I've always maintained that Summer Glau is great in her role, considering she's supposed to deliver a robotic performance. But I thought she was great in her non-robot roles, even when she was playing a robot who forgot what she/it was and thought she/it was a human.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I said this elsewhere, but it bears repeating: despite low ratings, FOX would benefit from at least giving the show a chance in April/May by just having a Terminator series on the air while the movie is released. I don't know if WB would promote a FOX show or vice versa, but the movie could very easily benefit the show and give FOX another hit. It's almost stupid if FOX cancels the show completely without giving it one last shot in 2009.

Very interesting episode but this will never get developed with the imminent cancellation.

Jujubee is mocking me about it to boot On a serious note I hope they get the 13 episodes so we can have a finale of sorts.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Some semi-decent news from production. FOX has ordered two additional scripts (fourteen and fifteen of Season 2; and not actual episodes, just the scripts) to be written beyond the 13 episodes to be produced. This is by no means great news, but considering the ratings, who expected FOX to pick the show up for a full season? I think any interest on FOX's part has to be good at this point. I hold no optimism beyond this point, but any news that isn't cancellation news is good.

The last episode was really boring. How many times are they going to use the same template for an episode?

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
The ratings for episode 3 go up slightly with DVRs factored in. Mind you, every show goes up a little, but it's still a nicer number (5.89 million to 6.65 million = +12.9%). It's sort of like saying "Hey, instead of placing 23rd in the race, you place 20th!" but it's still an improvement.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I'm a *little* happy this show hung on to the 5-6 million range. Some shows with low ratings/low promotion to begin with collapse rather quickly.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
If you haven't heard the amazing news, FOX has renewed Terminator for a full 2nd season (22 episodes). That's downright miraculous. I say it's a mix of the small uptick in ratings with DVR info, the two added scripts (must've been good), the movie possibly helping the show and the fact that FOX generally does well in January with Idol on the schedule.
Now, let's hope ratings improve to justify FOX's decision.

Kind of a dull episode tonight, to be honest. Not enough Glau, too much dull John issues.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I was told that last night was the last stand-alone, "Terminator of the Week" episode and the rest of the season should focus on the main arc and act like a series/serial. True?

Pretty much. Last night's episode just seemed mostly pointless. It was like a stop-gap episode, kind of the "Saw IV" to the Saw V where it's only reason for existence was to bridge a narrative gap.
