For Your Consideration...
Jamie Foxx for Best Actor in Ray
"It takes all of five seconds, tops, to believe that Jamie Foxx is the young Ray Charles." - San Fransico Chronicle

I don't think Jamie Foxx needs any FYC ads. In fact, even if there were 100 anti-Foxx ads posted by someone on here, he'd still get nomnated and win.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
Don't vote for Jamie Foxx. You guys are missing out on the GREATEST performance of '04, played by none other than Dennis Quaid in...
THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW.
"Dennis Quaid's performance as a climatologist is perhaps the best anyone's done portraying a climatologist. In fact, it might be the only one..."

STFU. I'm serious.
He prevented the movie from being completely laughable...
That deserves an accolade.

BEST REMAKE - THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE AND DAWN OF THE DEAD
Two of the best movies of the year happened to be quite decent remakes of originals...
BEST COMEDY - ANCHORMAN, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, AND MEAN GIRLS
All took us by suprise. Shaun of the Dead and Mean Girls happened to be two of the best reviewed movies whilst Anchorman (and Napoleon Dynamite, arguably) instantly became one of those "quotable" movies...

Please consider:
Gael GarcÃÂa Bernal in Bad Education for BEST ACTOR
(I just got to see Bad Education today when my Uncle finally got a copy of the film for me like I asked, and boy, did I think he was awesome - he truly deserves an acting nomination)
Meryl Streep in The Manchurian Candidate for BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
(It may not seem like it from just looking at the commercials, but Streep was fantastic in this film. She's amazing.)
PEACE, Mike

Oh no.
Bernal's votes are going to be split between the Motorcycle Diary fans and the Bad Education fans...
I think I'll go with both after I watch it Bad Education - I know I won't be disappointed with Bernal and it's about time he got some recognition!

Nooooooooooo. It can't be split, that sucks. I already asked in the rules thread if you could vote for both, since I think he was excellent in both films. I loved him more in Bad Education, but I realize that only about 10 people on these forums have thus far seen it, so if I can't vote for both I might throw towards Diaries to give Bernal a chance. But I hope we can vote for both, because His performance in Bad Education was hands down the best of the year.
edit***
Breaking News Guys.....You can vote for him in BOTH if you think he's worthy. Xia just told me, since people are also struggling with Foxx the same way. w00t! This made it tons easier to prep my ballot
