Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Good premiere. Can't imagine the ratings will be very good though, leading off the night. Hopefully, they're better than Fox expects.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
"I love you John. I always have. I love you John, like you love me" Creepy robot "love" right there... It was a fun premiere. Shirley Manson, despite being an untrained actress was a pretty good addition. She exudes just enough intrigue and steely line delivery adequate for her character. Yeah I'm guessing this will get... 7 million? Or less

I thought Shirley Manson was bloody awful. Still a good season opener, wonder when they'll have Summer Glau and John Connor engage in WRONG love.

I wonder if they wanted Tilda Swinton and had to settle for Shirley Manson, or if Shirley Manson wanted to be Tilda Swinton, and had to settle for crap.

This was a good premiere.
But I do wonder why 17 years later they still can't replicate the coolness of the original T-1000 special effects.

Tonight was an awesome episode. Very intriguing and fun. And damn, did Glau look good during the bar scene. That billiards/pool thing was as well. Who plays Riley, John's new girlfriend of sorts?

Who plays Riley, John's new girlfriend of sorts? Leven Rambin, she's a series regular now. They really stepped up with recognizable but not super-big TV stars as guests: Paul Schulze (CHapelle from 24) played Greenway Debra Wilson (from MADTv) as the plant supervisor Zack Ward (Dave from Titus) as the resistance fighter Busy Phillips (from Dawson's Creek and Undeclared) as the next-door neighbor

Oh ya, Summer's definitely attractive during the bar sequence.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
I've been very impressed with the two episodes thus far this season. After a shaky, truncated first season, it has become one of the most enjoyable shows on TV and appointment television for me. The bad ratings are very disappointing. I fear Fox will cancel the show as a result

Didn't enjoy the second episode as much as I enjoyed the first one. But it was on par with what TSCC offered thus far - mindless fun with occasional action sequences...

Solid episode. This is probably the best sci fi show on the air these days.

I don't consider Chuck sci fi, that's an action/comedy or spy/comedy.
Lost though is one I forgot. The rest of them on that list are pretty bad.

Jay must have been waiting to reply in this thread and only to bash the show. For shame.
For the record, the list was kind of tossed out the window when you listed Chuck. Great show, but I don't even see how you could make a connection to science-fiction. A loose connection at best... and even then, not really.

Didn't get a chance to watch the show tonight. Will view it on the net hopefully tomorrow as that's the earliest it'll be available on Hulu.

Tonight's episode was considerably better than last week's. And next week: Cameron backstory. Yay.

I'd rate that one of the best episodes of the series. The ending packed a punch.
