Post Potential Breakout Hits
Ive been watching the development of 2005's movies with great anticipation; and ive already noticed some films that may be sliding under the radar now, but could really explode come release date time

http://naturalflux7.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9843

My favourite candidates from the list are "Wedding Crashers" and "The Weather Man"

What movies do you guys feel can break out this year?

Possible, at least it isn't getting the Shaolin Soccer treatment from the distributor.

Wedding Crashers is going to be a hit. The audience that saw Meet the Fockers when I saw it really enjoyed the trailer and want to see the movie!!!

Sin City - People at my school have been saying "Holy shit, that was the coolest trailer I've ever seen."
Unleashed - Jet Li + Morgan Freeman + Action for teens/young adults + drama for older audiences = Hit? Let's hope Rogue doesn't mess another one up...
The Pacifier - Terrific crowd reactions, it might open over 30 million.
The Ring Two - We all know it'll be a big hit, but it may very well clear 70 million opening weekend and 200 million total.

Oh, and I'd add Sahara. The trailer has been attached to literally everything I've seen, and it looks better then National Treasure. It could have a Hidalgo-ish run.

I'm the complete opposite on Sahara. It looks terrible. No crowd reaction whatsoever. Very plain and boring. Nicolas Cage is a much bigger name, and Disney's name was slapped on that, along with Bruckheimer. Sahara is just there, and I think it'll stay there.

SIN CITY!!!!!!!!! - bigest break out film of 05, it shares no similarities with the disapointing sky captain and the buzz with everyone who has seen the trailer including those outside the net has been outstanding  I expect a robust opening and a multiplyer a little over 3.0

get ready for the greatness
