Don't close threads for no reason
What the hell is with you Royd? Do you enjoy allowing others to make someone feel awful? You're incompetent at modding because you don't actually do anything to stop the situation. I'm convinced you allow it because you want to see someone pushed into hurting themselves; that's just the kind of person you are. Eagle should step in and do something about it.

Joe, I think it's more of a way for you two to settle/discuss things in private, rather than letting it go on and get potentially even more heated. But if you feel he locked it prematurely, by all means let him know by PM.

I closed it because you have no case at all. You claim that you are attacked for no reason but frankly whenever I see your report, I wouldnt say 100% of the time but more like 85% of the time you started shit because someone doesnt agree with you. If you want me to be specific, I can either make it public or if you dont feel the stuff should be disclosed here I could send a PM

From what I read, you think that anyone who attacks you disagrees with you. Your report the other day will rather silly to be frank. You cant report someone who who uses humor over a disagreement. Your attacks are

Try this: Reading every post thinking that those behind the posts hate you and would like to see you gone. Guarantee you'd see things differently.
The only people who have been nice to me on a consistent basis are TonyMontana and Corpse, pretty much.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
I wasnt talking about seperate threads. I was referring to the one where Mike disagreed with you about ugly actors and Mike used humor to get his point across yet you feel the need to report him for that. Chipmunky was a reaction to you to calm down because you did blow up there.Anything else? If you are referring to the Loyal thing, there are times you start fights with him but not all the time

But why do you do that? Of course you'd see everything as an attack. To you then, even this post of mine would seem different and negative, despite the contrary.

But why do you do that? Of course you'd see everything as an attack. Growing up in a house being physically and mentally abused will do that to a person. Just the other day I saw my dad punch my brother in the mouth.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
Joe,
I have full confidence in Roid (and the rest of the team we have put in place) to do the job required, and it's important that you understand I have no say in the administration of this forum.
I am no longer an admin, and as such, I haven't really been paying attention to whatever situation is currently bothering you. What I can say is from the perspective of a user, and is as follows:
Some members may very well be a bit too harsh with you at times, but this is a public forum. If people don't like you, they are entitled to voice that opinion and make it known. If you don't like it, you are entitled to ignore them, or even leave. We are not in the business, nor do we want to be, of making everyone play nice together. What we do, and where the line is drawn based on the rules laid down, is when people begin to attack another poster on a personal level. The problem arrises because the defenition of a 'personal attack' is so vague, thus making each circumstance not black or white, but varying shades of gray. It is the Mod Team's job as a whole to decide which circumstances require them to step in, and which don't.
I have full confidence in them to do just that, and for whatever reason, they don't feel the situations you have reported warrant any action.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
If you truely think that I have done nothing, I have more than enough times have prewarned posters from attacking you like Box(sorry to pick you out) for no apparant reason not relating to the thread. I dont know what more you want when I have said about watching Wakerofthewinds behavior. Seriously alot of your reports are somewhat frivilous

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
The problem is Joe, you have very thin skin.
No, we do not want to have to police every little incident that takes place. This forum is too active, and that would be a nightmare for our Mod staff. Unless they feel a poster crosses the line to where they are attacking someone on a personal level, there should be no need for them to get involved.
You are a grown man, don't rely on others to solve your problems. If you have unresolved issues, and you don't like how they are, then make the effort yourself to correct the situation in a mature manner.
As for the PM's, I am at work and it will be handled when I get home.

My plan is to "correct" the matter by, well, you know by now. It's the only way to really truly not have to witness it anymore. He's talking about the forum Joe.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
No Joe, they don't.
We are only capable of dealing with what happens HERE and the circumstances which occur HERE. We can not start taking into account things outside the forum, however dire they may be. It opens up a whole can of worms we are not capable of dealing with.
