Million Dollar Baby was quite underestimated, while Are We There Yet was quite overestimated. Oh well, still great numbers.

Awesome for Alone in the Dark! It's such a huge box office success. People at Lion Gates must be delighted. Does this possibly greenligth a "Alone in the Dark: Lights on, Biatch!"? Let's hope so. It may win Best Picture '06. =D>

How did Aliens of the Deep do?

Looks like I'm the only one at KJ who saw it this weekend.

If Fockers drops 25% every week from now on it'll end with a little less than $290m. Who would have thought...

It did $479,368 on 27 IMAX screens, which gives an average of $17,754 per screen. Is this good or bad for this kind of a release?

How did you like it?

I'm dying to see a new Cameron film. Can't wait for Alita!

Ghosts of the Abyss had a larger screen count (around 100) and did 14.5 per screen over it's opening weekend.

It was great. If you like large format films and 3D, it's a must see. I was in awe for most the film.

Cameron has yet to disappoint me.

Underprediction for AITD.

GREAT for HIDE AND SEEK, and all the oscar nods.

Elektra was under-estimated. Its p.t.a was off just 25% from last weekend despite that monolithic sized drop in theaters. In the top theater drops ever, Elektra is number 12, but its box office decrease is nowhere near that of other movies that dropped similar amounts.
