Distracting topics such as how many warnings are to be given before a ban, and who decides the length and why don't cover up the most basic fact that getluv's been a real troublemaker on these forums, even more than usual in the last few weeks. If you notice, the people defending him are people he likes, and never makes fun of unless they're on joking terms. But practically everyone outside of this group he constantly shits on, in rude and profane fashion, and it creates a real disturbance in the community, especially when he's engaging 5-6 forum members a day in an argument/fight they didn't start or instigate. Yes because action without explanation or thought because it "distracts" and "over-complicates" is exactly the way justice is served. Tim

Tim Your right about that, hes a convict now. Let that be an example to all you posters out there on what happens if you break the law. You do the crime, you will pay dearly

There wasn`t enough explanation on the specific banning until I asked specifically for it. Royd explained in full. That`s why I said that I`d said enough because I had asked, and Royd explained in full. No extra two cents needed. Tim

 Re: getluv 1 week ban
From the top down I'd say that KJ does an awesome job at being very transparent and fair with every decision they make. It is very obvious they try damn hard to be fair and to give ample opportunity to correct any behavior.
As a general rule you have to work pretty damn hard to get a ban, and I think it's essentially impossible to get a perma-ban.
Far too often these things lead to an argument of "this person did worse!" or "this person started it!". The reality is that each person knows very well what they did to lead to the ban.
I have never in all my years here seen an unfair banning. Heck, I've been both warned and banned here myself, and each time I knew why, and I would have never been caught dead saying "but he started it!" or "he was worse!". I think it is important to take responsibility for your actions, move on, and not worry about the "other" person or persons.
And, I think the powers to be here have done a lot to earn our trust, and we should as a group give them a little more faith when it comes to matters like this.

You sound like Britney Spears with her "We should just support the presidents decisions" shtick.

 Re: getluv 1 week ban
If a cop stops me for speeding and gives me a warning, that warning is a precursos to the fine I would get if I ever get stopped for speeding again, be it the next day or 10 years later. I really think people don't get banned enough. I'm all about the powers that be excersiing their authority over the people. I realize that leads to possible abuse of power, but we can deal with that IF it happens. Until then, keep up the good work (to the mods).

I seem to remember Tony having a week ban at some point. I did a forum search, though, and found no evidence to support that. He has been warned though. At least twice. On a completely separate line of thought, as I was searching The Site I found at least 9 threads that were announcing some form of a ban for Mav.
