I mentioned a few suspicious voting patterns around the matches, two including her and the other her mavericka buddy, but I was 90% sure they were coincidence so that's why I held off them from now. She already cleared it up with the talking to her friends beforehand explanation, that would explain the big early turnout on our match and the private forum turnout, and the Mav thing would then just be chance.

I don't know about anyone else, but this scheme makes me question voting in general. Hell, I'm beginning to suspect Bush didn't *really* win the 2000 election!

But IP address changes? I know I can disconnect and connect and I'll get a new IP (that comes really handy on rapidshare ). So checking IP might not tell the whole story.

if this is something that just effected the poll, then its getluv's thread and only he should have a say on if thats okay with him or not. if it is, then really, just ban all the multiple accounts and let it be. Its not like people haven't tried that in the past. I remember in the poster of the week contests, one member tried that. I didn't like it so i redid the poll but i think it should be upto the thread creator to make that decision.

well its up to the moderators to enforce the rules they have on multiple accounts. that is beyond my control.

the game isn't to be taken that seriously where you are recruiting friends and/or creating 2ndary accounts to vote for yourself. it is just a place for some friendly rivalry. it's not like there is a monetary prize involved.

oh i meant as far as your thread went .. making a decision now that the votes will remain even if the mods ban those accounts or not.

if the moderators can tell me who was behind the multiple accounts, then i will most likely disqualify the person as far as my thread is concerned.

There's not much you can do. If I were in your shoes, getluv, I'd try to find some compromise answer, like have a run off with the top 8 or so people. But in the end it was just a game, just do what feels right to you.

As punishment, Korrgan should have to type in regular non-blue text for a week.
