Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
so 2 days ago i decided to start the show from the beginning, mostly because i found all the episodes online. I love it and find it really easy to relate to. Maybe because i'm 21 and the conversations they have I actually have with my friends. It just works, dunno how else to put it. I'm on season 3 episode 10.

Marshall and Lily are married, but they discovered their new apartment was "crooked" in a recent episode, so they're living with Ted until it's fixed. loyalfromlondon wrote: wait, does every episode end like Doogie? Is the show about him? No, not every episode ends like that. It was a one-time thing, which is what made it so hilarious. The main character is Ted (Bob Saget narrating is Ted telling the "story" to his kids). DID YOU LIKE IT???

How I Met Your Mother, is about Ted's wife, which is... Willow? Yay, I'm glad you thought it was funny. See, it's not like other CBS shows. Willow (Alyson Hannigan, playing Lily) is not Ted's wife. She's Marshall (Jason Segel)'s wife. We haven't actually met Ted's wife/The Mother (at least that we know of). Right now, Ted is apparently dating a dermatologist (played by Sarah Chalke of Scrubs, who guest starred three episodes ago or so) and some people think it might be her.

When I look back at my top tv comedies of all-time, none have laugh tracks. I don't think Mother really needs one either. But yeah, I'll tune in. What night does it air? Mondays at 8:30 eastern, CBS.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
Britney Spears is returning to How I Met Your Mother, a source tells PEOPLE.
“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,†a source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.â€Â
The singer/actress will do one episode, the source says. Fox studios would not confirm the appearance.
Spears, 26, appeared on the March 24 episode, playing a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who fell for one of the show’s main characters, played by Josh Radnor. She received wide accolades for the spot.
“She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well, and she was great,†cast member Jason Segel said. –Jennifer Garcia, Nicole Weisensee Egan and Lisa Ingrassia

OMG!
First of all, fantastic episode. Between the "revertigo" (I found Lily's especially humorous) and the whole "Sandcastles in the Sand" video, it was hilarious.
And?
BARNEY AND ROBIN! I'm not gonna lie, that's hot.

Them together is hot. You are right Libs. Finally, I've been waiting for them to hook it up.
And Sand Castles in the Sky, oh my lord. Hilarious.

Yeah, that final shot was all kinds of "Wha???" I do like how they initially faked us out, then actually had them hook up. Awesome episode though.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
The music video wasn't even close to being as hilarious as the "Mall" music video. It was just mostly lame like the all too PC episode as a whole.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
Good ep! I like how they seem to be giving every principle character their own little eps to round out the series. First Ted with the Britney ep, then Barney followed by Marshall, and now Robin. I guess next week we can look forward to a Lily-centric episode.
However, I must concur with Joe that Sandcastles wasn't nearly as funny as Let's Go To The Mall. The earnest commentary by Robin and Barney didn't help, but it served the scene's intentions well enough. It couldn't have been too wacky or we wouldn't have bought them getting together.

Mr. Inc wrote: Decent episode. Loved the bro code. Same. The scene with Barney, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson cracked me up. Ted and Barney better get back together as friends soon! And I'm so disappointed we didn't get to hear about the goat! Although, did I mishear the tag, or was 2032 Ted implying that he and Robin lived together during the goat incident (which would presumably be one year from now in 2009)?

very weak episode. The Bro Code is very overused in TV.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
The bro code stuff was boring but I liked everything in the limo, including the punch and the driver's reaction. I thought it was a soso episode that was saved by a good final 5 minutes.
I'm surprised they went this direction with Barney/Robin. If they had taken it a more serious direction with them really trying to be a couple, it would have been interesting.

The goat stuff was weak. Other than that a good episode.
And Libs is right, they implied they will be living together in a year. But maybe Marshal and Lily have moved to their new home then and Robin and Ted will live together as a flat-sharing community

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 3 (Suit up!)
I am loving Sarah Chalke as Stella. I'm praying that she's The Mother at this point.
Will Arnett as Barney's "rebound bro" was hilarious.
"What's up, Joseph Liebroman?" "No. We do not use the word "bro" in the name of a failed Democratic vice presidential candidate." "*noting* OK, no Geraldine Ferrarbro..."

This episode was really awesome. I love Barnie-centric episodes. The nosebleeding wing-man was brilliant.
