I thought the point of the thread was to complain about mods not doing their jobs properly?

It wasn't a normal what I think of you, what you think of me thread, 9/10 of those are totally joking. You seriously asked, not why people like, you asked people why they dislike you, that's not exactly going to lead to lots of bunnies and rainbows.

You asked every poster here who doesn't like to state why, its akin to asking people to line up and gang up on you. Its far more likely to lead to drama.

Hell, I can recall times were any threads about disliking posters were closed two posts in to prevent anything from happening.

And the thread didn't really truly get derailed till the ole Stalker tangent, till then you seemed to be engaged in discussions with lots of posters, including myself.

I feel like jujubee is being thrown under a bus for stating her opinion about in the first thread, which she has a right to do, and smartly closing the second thread since the first led to stalker accusations. You were mighty unhappy for at least a page of the original thread when it wasn't being closed. Jujubee seems damned is she closes your threads, and damned if she doesn't.

I was unhappy with it not being closed because I requested it to be closed (people need to start viewing posters as that. Posters. Not who on their personal opinion of that poster. But as an average forum member, and a few other posters also posted they wanted it closed. There are example of threads being closed as soon as someone said they were offended and such, so it didn't seem right, and comes back to the double standard and inconsistency on locking threads which doesn't have any rules. I'll use the Insult The Admin thread that was closed recently as an example. Mods/Admins posted in that thread before it was locked, despite knowing it would obviosuly turn into some drama thread or at least have a significant chance of doing so. The only "rule" is if someone finds it inappropriate. Many people find different things inappropriate, you can't let a single person or even a handful decide what is and isn't inapproriate to someone when there aren't any rules regarding the problem someone is having.

I don't think anyone wants jujubee lynched. But I also don't think the things mentioned should be swept under the rug either. I've mentioned them throughout the thread too many times to count, but I think there are a few valid points in there as to why someone of us don't like her actions.

Um, the Insult the Admins thread was a joke thread too. Eventually Korrgan's jewjewbee thing was brought up... which didn't have much to do with the original creation of the thread but rather an old post, and Gulli and Mav started talking about a streetfight, but the thread itself was harmless.

What exactly are you arguing for here? That jujubee be punished for locking a Pt. 2 of a thread that had already been locked on your request? I think everyone agrees we had enough of that bitchfest when it went 13+ pages, it had run its course.

To put it bluntly Corpse, everyone is sick of your dramatic antics and threads. If there's a double standard about whether you making a thread like that was more likely to be locked, that's because you DESERVE that double standard. When you spend week after week with these threads, of course we're more likely to shut it down when you make another one.

My advice would be just to chill. Take a step back and stop caring about what we are saying or thinking. The sooner you realize that there's a lot of people here who don't like you and accept that it simply does not matter, the better off you'll be.

My condolences to all present and future mods. There's nothing like modding to suck the joy out of a forum...

This thing is still going on, or did Korrgan, jujubee, and Ericka resolve their problem?

Oh hell no, that'll cause her to leave within a couple of weeks and I certainly don't want that.

As someone who has a lot invested in three cinema, internet drama, the human experience, I think this thread should be closed and everyone involved banned. Thank you.

Post Re: My Mod/Admin Complaints
End result:

1) Corpse, we don't have any specific guidelines toward locking threads. Similar to banning or warning users, we realize that each case is unique, thus we evaluate each thread on a case by case basis. Your mention how your original "Tell Me" had people who wanted it closed, there were also people who wanted it open. We tried to balance both sides, and we closed it when we felt it was appropriate. I apologize if you disagree, you have a right to your own opinion on the matter, it was a judgment call and is in now way meant to be something personal toward you.

2) Korrgan, I have heard, and taken note of your complaints regarding jujubee. I understand where you are coming from, and I can see how you might believe some of her comments toward you lack the respect we prefer from our Mods. That said, you have been incredibly disrespectful toward jujubee, far moreso than she has been to you. It is my hope that jujubee will attempt to show you, and anyone else who has felt slighted, more respect in the future. We want all of our mods and admins to treat users with respect, and jujubee is no exception. I also hope that you all will in turn show her the respect she deserves for the great job she does day in and day out. It's not an easy job.

3) With regard to mods putting people on ignore, it is our policy to allow it, and for the present time, it will continue to be. We will continue to re-evaluate this, and if we feel a change is needed, make one.
