The thread was an extension of a thread that had already been closed. That right there is reason enough for it to be closed. You can disagree all you want, but there was no reason for that thread and no reason to leave it open.

As for this thread, since it involves me personally, I will allow another mod/admin to close it, since I'm sure it should be as well.

Eh...well I have no idea what the whole situation was (I'm so out of the loop these days) but yeah that is what happens. There are still jokes made about some of the many flame-wars I've had with any number of people on here, but gradually it becomes less and less relevant. It isn't like anyone is going to suddenly leave because of something you said about Karl and, though Karl and I have had our disagreements (in fact he no longer acknowledges me but hey...) I'm sure he can handle being called a name or what not in an adult matter...and if he has a problem he'd probably approach you directly.

Anyway...just let it pass, it will.

For that matter, Munk- E's poll is, too. Why wasn't that locked?

No offense, jujubee, but I think you guys need to let things breathe a little. I didn't see anything bad at all, she was trying to clear up any wrong assumptions, and I'm guessing his poll prompted it, but I could be wrong on that.

Corpse, your very first thread was closed because it degenerated into a flame war. You created the exact same thread, literally labeled part two, and expected it not to degenerate again?

Jujubee was right to close the thread, and I'm glad that she did.

In all honesty, I don't want to have to go through it again. I think it all goes back to what I was saying in that thread, sometimes I think you don't realize what the things you say are going to do. I knew, and I think many other people did as well, that your thread would never really go away. To expect it to go away in two weeks is just silly.

As for comments about me: I am who I am, I know what I said and why I said it. If you took something in the wrong way, that's on you, and I'm totally fine with any mocking that comes my way. I mean, I already had a whole thread dedicated to explaining how I was some creepy stalker, what could possibly be any worse than that?

Anyways, this is getting locked, if you have any complaints, please PM a mod or admin.

a) in my opinion, this thread should remain open as its discussing a mod decision that is being questioned. maybe i'm too drunk at the moment but to me, it sounds like the answer has not been fully answered. the stress on the word drunk

b) questioning mod/admin decisions should be in the Site and that is where i'm moving this thread, irregardless of if it remains open or not.

c) having read jujubee's and eagle's reply, irregardless of what happened in the first thread, this to me is an extension of the initial question you asked, which after 360 replies or something was locked. in my opinion, it was fully answered considering it went upto 360 replies

However, if you wish to ask the same question again, simply ask the question, leave it that way and let people answer without constantly justifying yourself. at that point, at least the admins and the mods know that it would not result in any kind of flame war and your question, if you personally think was not answered the first time around, will be answered.

d) The mods and admins work as a team over here. as much as one likes to say/think/imply that they are just questioning a decision as opposed to picking on someone, it is quite evident here that some people do not like jujubee for the mere fact that she is a mod/how she handles being a mod or simply want to make her life miserable for the mere sake that she is a mod. its an attitude that is getting quite on my nerves because in my opinion, the negative feeling showed towards her has little or nothing to do with her decisions she has made but simply the fact that she is a mod and hell .. i'll be politically incorrect here but i don't care .. the fact that shes a girl and certain other members of the same sex seem to be having a major issue with it. this is my personal opinion on the subject. anyhoo, point being, this was a mod/admin decision ... not a julia specific decision. once again, if you have an issue with a decision made by any single mod/admin, address the entire team, not specifically pick on one person. hell we have had some of the best mods on this forum lost because certain people couldn't grasp or deal with the fact that they were mods. i do not want to lose the one reliable mod i can at least rely upon to do his/her job.
