Re: "Nip/Tuck" (Season 5)
The lack of Eden pissed me off, and her role in next week's episode looks a bit retarded. She seriously became my favorite character in the show within like three episodes. We could've had Eden scenes this last episode instead of Sharon Gless scenes, but nnooo.
This season is worse than last.

Nothing could be worse than the abysmal fourth season.

I would gladly take back that black chick from Alien vs. Predator before wanting to watch a Sharon Gless or Julia scene.

Julia CANNOT be dead. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this show is NOT the same without her - evidenced perfectly by the horrible batch of episodes that closed out the season last year.
That being said, Eden is awesome and the best villain on the show since Ava for sure.

She's not dead I don't think. The announcer just said shot, not deceased. I think someone might die in the car crash though.

Re: "Nip/Tuck" (Season 5)
Better episode than most of the season, but still pretty bad. What the fuck were the producers thinking when they created Colleen? All the episodes she was in and all the time devoted to her could've been time given to Eden, who was criminally ignored after her brief story arc in November. I would've much rather have seen more Eden this episode as opposed to the five or so scenes that were devoted to Colleen. Colleen is the worst character of all-time in TV history.
What an awful excuse of a show Nip/Tuck has become.

Re: "Nip/Tuck" (Season 5)
I thought it was a very good finale. There wasn't enough Eden and some storylines weren't resolved, but I expected that since this was only the season finale due to the strike (the final eight episodes of the season are now going to be season six and will air in the fall). The final few scenes were really shocking and the end was quite disturbing. I like Colleen as a villain. She's really creepy and, while not as awesome as Eden, is still a good character.
Overall, I thought season five was great. A nice return to form for the show after the awful fourth season.

McNamara is really dead? That would be an awful end to his character. Colleen is the worst character I have witnessed in television history. No way he survived that stabbing though. If he did, he would be paralyzed.
So are we back for more episodes this fall?

Yeah, there will be at least eight more episodes this fall - more if this gets picked up for another season.

Re: "Nip/Tuck" (Season 5)
The promo for the "new season" (which is actually the last eight episodes of season five that were ordered but not filmed due to the strike) was just released and the episodes will begin airing in January. After that there will be one more season of 19 episodes before the series ends its run with a grand total of 100 episodes.
I can't wait! I really enjoyed last season - it was a big return to form for the show after the mediocre fourth season. And AnnaLynne McCord is returning as Eden, which is great news because her character was awesome.
This show isn't the brilliant series it was back in the first and second season, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a show that's so consistently surprising and hilariously entertaining with every episode. It's campy as hell at this point - but in a good way.

Re: "Nip/Tuck" (Season 5)
Awesome episode tonight! I loved the beginning with Colleen and actually seeing a more expansive view of her attack on Sean - the whole scene set to Mark Ronson's "Stop Me" was fantastic and the most intense this show has been in a while. The revelation about Christian was very surprising and should make for an interesting storyline. And I actually didn't find Matt completely detestable tonight, it seems like he's finally getting his act together. The preview for the upcoming episodes make them look great too. I'm so glad this show is back
Oh, and I loved how they basically deleted the horrible Season 4 flash-forward episode from the show's continuity tonight with Sean mentioning that it was a dream

I loved Eden's scene last night. It was great. I didn't expect her to throw her mother's ashes into Sean's and Julia's face, but when she did, I was like, "Hell yes!"

Last night's episode was ridiculous but still awesome. Jennifer Coolidge was hilarious, and Eden was great.
