The "Happy?" part furthers the idea that you can't fess up and take the responsibility. Being wrong isn't a big deal - you don't have to be annoyed about it, though.

I'm annoyed with something personal at this current time, so I replied in an annoyed manner. I'm not admitting I'm wrong, because I don't believe I am, just like you don't believe you're wrong. I thought that all of the people here who spend lots of time in different threads on debates would realize something: changing someone else's opinion so it matches your own isn't as easy as it sounds.

Are you not trying to have it your way by pointing out how ridiculous/stupid/ineffetive wearing the blue bracelets is, and that therefore it is a waste of time to be doing so, even though the people interested in them have already stated it's not about getting Bush out of office anymore?
Even more hypocritical, "fight on." You think any kind of arguement in this thread is gonna change anyone's opinion? Then is it not a waste of time to be debating the purpose of these bracelets? Just like you say it's a waste of time wearing them? A little contradictory, maybe?

When did I say it's a waste of time wearing them? Show me the statement.

Umm, you're agreeing with Mr. X, who believes the y are a waste of time, and stupid.
Unless you replied without reading his statements first?

I'm not agreeing/disagreeing with either side. I just think it's unfair for X to have his opinion shot down so quickly.

You specifically said you're not wrong, so that led me to one conclusion, that you were agreeing, but ok.
Directed @ Mr. X: The election affects everyone, because depending on who's elected, that decides how the country is run. So why do you think it's such a waste of time to let the government know that there are more people here than the 55 or so million that voted for Bush? That he's supposed to run and do what's best for the entire country, not just the 55 million that voted for him. Now, I'm not sure wearing a bracelet is the best way to do that (shirts are sooo much better! ) but the message is there.
Now, if you believe in just letting things slide and go by, which I think is the true waste of time, not doing anything for what you believe, then why don't you just accept that some people want to make a statement and let it be. Unlike the election which affects the entire nation, and well, the world, wearing a stupid bracelet does not affect anyone but the person doing so, and unlike what you're trying to say, it does not take time away from people for them to do anything else in their lifes.
So when you compare the two, and consider what's at stake in both cases, why do you think it's stupid to wear a bracelet, but not to try to change the way the country is run?

If his opinion sucks, it's just. Plain and simple. Hell, it even semi-rhymes.

I meant it wasn't wrong in voicing his opinion. Glad we're on the same page now though.

Mr. X, why is it that when anyone challenges one of your posts, they're "not respecting your opinion" or "are trying to change your opinion"? It's like you post here hoping no one will respond.

Because it's the truth, oh powerful and intelligent one. Torrino said I'm a hypocrite and my opinion sucks. Sorry if my opinion does not matter, but it seems everyone else is pretty much one-sided on everything. Either I agree with them, or I shut up. I gave my opinion, but I'm not going to sit here and argue about it.

No one is telling you to shut up. They're challenging the post you made and expecting a retrout, not another "why can't I have an opinion of my own?" post. The purpose of a message board is to talk amongst friends and debate about things. Debating is sharing opinions and defending them. You seem to only want to share your opinion and not have to defend it. I'm not talking about just this thread, too. You do this a lot. Like with that Christians can only celebrate Christmas thread.

But, see, you haven't tried to attack it back. Until you respond to most things asked and try to defend yourself a bit more, you really can't whine and place the blame on anyone else when people rebuke and reject your comments/ideas. You've gotta have a basis, no?

Can you tell I don't debate much? I usually like making an opinion, but once someone challenges, I figure it just will go in a circle. I haven't done a good debate in a while, so maybe someday I'll be better at it. Until then... YOU ALL SUCK!!!! *vanishes, then falls into a sewer* Oh man... this sucks. I'll get you, karma!!

I have never ever have my ass handed to me. Jesus, wouldn't that hurt? "Here you go, your ass... and we brought it on a silver platter." I would find it difficult to sit without an ass. I would also like to state that I have never worn my ass for a hat. Never have I felt like a hat was truly necessary, and that I had to wear my ass as one.

Well I just read the story and I find it to be rediculously stupid. How is trying to convince people to vote your way gonna help if you're trying to disassociate yourself from them (them being republicans). Stupid people, stupid idea, stupid mr. x.
