The best comedy on TV returns tomorrow for more NBC-inspired lunacy. Watch, or fear the Wrath of Loyal.

I'm so, so, so, so excited for the season premiere! :)

30 Rock is the best comedy that is currently on television by far. I love it and I'm sure the premiere will be fantastic.

THat image of Alec Baldwin trying to whack Jerry Seinfeld behind the head is GOLD.

I'm kinda nervous about Seinfeld, actually. But I'm excited nonetheless.

I'd call 30 Rock the most overrated show on television if I wasn't in the middle of the lion's den here. But I'll keep watching. I hope the show has let go of its adoration for Arrested Development. Those similarities were my biggest issues with the show.

The first half of the season was very mediocre, but the second half :wub2:

Yeah, they really found their stride during the second half. I was just trying to watch the pilot the other night, and I couldn't finish it. The season's first half was okay, but the second is gold.

Didn't we leave off with Tracy being kidnapped or something? Or running away from the black mafia? What happened to that?

I completely forgot about that. My guess is it's either going to come up in the next couple of episodes (Why would the black mafia attack immediately?) or it's going to be forgotten about like the Boston Legal season one finale.

As for the episode, I liked it. I think it could've used a little more Seinfeld, but I would say it was a very good premiere.

Good not great season premier.
Easily the best running comedy on network TV though.

Ya it was good, impression was the best part but for a premiere wasn't knock your sock off and if they wanted more viewers it should have been.

Surprisingly lame premiere, about on the level of early season 1.

This has been going through my head since watching the episode this morning. FanTASTIC, BTW. I thought all three plotlines were excellent, particularly Tracy's a rarity for this show.

I love the ad for this week's

Jack: "At the 1976 Democratic convention. It's ok, I was beating up hippies." :hahaha:

I wasn't a huge fan of the Liz storyline, but the Paige off and Jack and Tracy stories were brilliant.
