While $250 million is not bad at all, and certainly well beyond expectations, I really think $300 million is out of reach. I did some calculations...it is actually not out of reach. As of now, with my calculations I had it at around $290 million, but it is possible that it'll do better.
@Lecter
Still underestimating the legs I see :down: its obvious by now that the film is going to have great legs so why peg it 10m under 300m when it will have that between wk 8 and 9 I see it making more than HP1 and FOTR easily \:D/ I want to see it realy suprise me and get passed 350m but its got around a 30% chance at that so I best not get my hopes up to high :wink:
@Rogue Commander
you say 250m when its headed for another 20m+ wknd and legs that every well recieved december release ,such as this film, recieve. I think that 250m was a given after its second wknd, and now that wknd 3 is over and wknd 4 is coming up another 20m is instore for this film and 300m becomes around 65m-60m closer. I think it can make the 65m-60m and I hope it can make more :wink:
BTW I expected 250m before it was released but that prediction was considered crazy at the time.

That's cause everyone now realizes the critics and internet users were wrong in slamming this movie and realize that it really is a good movie.. It'll do well this weekend for it's 2nd weekend outing.. I'm seeing it for a 4th time on Saturday.. :wink:

The Grudge 1. Monday -- $2,768,345 (-69.2%) 2. Tuesday -- $2,427,981 (-12.3%)
White Noise 1. Monday -- $1,424,430 (-73.5%) 2. Tuesday -- $1,345,295 (-5.6%)
So basically this shows that WHITE NOISE is performing like any other Horror movie this time of year.. Not bad for a movie most people, critics included panned.. =D>

The theater count is much lower for White Noise than the other two. If they had it in at least 2800+, this would have easily cleared 30 mil. last weekend.

Fucking shame on the studio for not expanding this awesome movie on more screens.. Someone needs to be reprimanded as a result of this total blunder..
